This is a nice way to bring a couple of bottles to a party or BYO restaurant, and the price is right if you would like to leave the carrier as a gift.One caution - the fit is too tight for sparkling wine bottles, even if only one of your bottles is sparkling. I had a similar carrier from another manufacturer that fit both bottle types but this one isn't even close.

I bought this to outfit a custom picnic basket. The design is true to the pictures and it looks nice in the basket. The flower pattern is printed on the fabric (not plastic applied after) so it should last. The stitching is well done without gaps or loose threads. The carrier will stretch to fit most wine bottles. I was even able to fit two wide mead bottles, although that seems to be the limit. When the bottles are full, the carrier will stay upright, but when they are empty there is not enough weight to stay up. There is a chemical smell common to all new neoprene, but it was not enough to worry about unless you are very sensitive to these kinds of things. I found if you leave it in the sun and out of the plastic wrapper with wadded up paper in the pockets for a day before you use it, the smell (off gassing) will be minimized. My only complaint is that there is no pocket for a corkscrew.

The tote itself was very pretty and seems to be pretty strong considering all the pushing and stretching it endured to get my standard 750 ml wine bottles inside! I literally worked up a sweat getting them inside and back out! I can only hope it stretches out a bit over time because That was a workout and a half that most people would just give up and use something else or return it. I'll keep it and hope for the best since I hate the hassle of returning things. Ih and the smell people are talking about is the normal smell of neoprene and will fade over time. That doesn't bother me
