does the reflective part peel off?

I have had these for more than 2 years and wear them almost daily. They still look the same as the day I got them. No peeling! I wear them out in the yard to keep my jeans from dragging in the grass and dirt and to keep insects out. They are great for mowing and gardening. I had the Velcro kind, but they kept coming off. These are great.

What are these made out of? Is it a plastic material, or metal?

They are metal, not sure the type. There is some bend to them, so you can make them fit you better than they do right out of the package.

Diameter of these clips?

Hard to say. They're flexible. I'm a bigger guy. I use them with slacks and jeans without issue. I don't they would work with skiing bibs, they're too small for bracelets. I hope that helps give an idea of the range.

Are these clips round?

They are oval shaped, long axis about 3.25" and short axis 2.25".
