Q: Does this work to exchange the resin in my DIC-20?

For the DIC=20, you would need to order the R2-20 product. That will provide 1 bag for each cartridge. Bags are overfilled a bit, so don't be concerned if you have some leftover after you refill. Also, please do not pack the resin in, water must be able to flow through.

Q: How many gallons of water will it provide spot free rinsing before you need to refill with new resin?

I am a professional detailer and I've been using this product for a while. You can use it with about 4-5 cars while getting readings at 0 ppm. From then on, you're going to have readings on the lower end (1-7) for another 3-4 cars. From then on you have to keep an eye on water spotting to determine when to change filters. CR Spotless recommends changing filters with readings of 3ppm but for the prices that the Resin/Refill goes for, it's completely unsustainable to do so.
