Yes, dresses are removable and changeable. All you have to do is pop the head off change the outfit or remove the outfit and then pop the head back in (easily) and the doll looks great after.

These are cheap copies of the Disney Princess dolls. The dresses fell apart in my hands within minutes of opening the package. Their hair was scraggly and uneven. I would never buy them again or recommend them. Save your money. Very disappointing gift for my great-granddaughter. UGGGG!
