absolutely perfect
Just what i wanted, did the job exactly as was required, was a perfect fit, slid in like it was made for it. worked perfectly.I used it on a bmx bike, which had a slightly larger diameter seat post tube than my seat post.

It works, to the... whatever is smaller than a millimeter! 😂
A very, very tight fit. That is probably the fault of the other product - a manual, suspension dropper post. However, with some lithium grease on the shim and post, this has marvelously facilitated installation. Thank you Amazon and Platt. 🥳

Avoid - doesn't fit. Go for Cane Creek.
Why did you choose this product over others?:Ordered a 30.9 to 31.6. It had one job, and it failed. I'm not sure if it's labelled wrong or the tolerance is bad, but the fit was too tight to work when I tried to use it with a 30.9mm post in a 31.6mm seat tube. I then ordered a Cane Creek one which fit perfectly. Unfortunately, I left it too late to return this. Buy cheap, buy twice...
