I’m so happy I came across this style of banana clip! I’ve got mostly 3a-3b curly hair with medium thickness, and in the summer heat and humidity it becomes harder to put back.This clip configuration is perfect for quick and secure half-ups! It lasted me all day at the local swimming hole after I did heatless crimping, and it looked so good! This is my happy medium between a high ponytail and keeping my curls down and I can’t recommend it enough!!!

I used to love Banana Clips so I saw these, thought they would be even better and more comfortable so, I ordered them.When they arrived my excitement drained away as soon as I handled them and saw that the "tongs" of the comb pieces are made with BENDY WIRE! A good number of them came bent in the wrong direction. AFTER I bent them into the correct orientation, I tried them and they are just too cheaply made to do anything with full hair, especially if it is thicker. Also, they are too short to use for a full pony so, unless you are leaving half your hair down, they're useless.I used to rock Banana Clips and can say I have used all the different kinds I could find and these are the worst. The best ever are the ones you just push towards each other without clipping- in case anyone wants to try them but these, save your money!

In principle, I love this design. It allows me to comfortably do floor workouts, recline on a sofa, or sit up against my headboard while still keeping my hair off my neck and out of my face. However, the wire teeth are just too weak for thicker hair; they get bent out of shape and then the clip loosens.I will definitely keep trying to use this clip until it fully falls apart, since it genuinely is a really uesful idea. However, I won't be re-purchasing until there's a version with more sturdy teeth.

Great take on the banana clip! I like this size but would like to see an even bigger comb option. It did hold my hair well while allowing the back hair to lay well in a updo without it being a tight ponytail.

I bought this because traditional plastic banana clips weren't working for me.....they wouldn't hold all of my hair. I jumped on Tik Tok and found that these were meant for girls with thick curly hair....but not really. I have between 3a and 3b curls, shoulder length and it's pretty thick but not as thick as it used to be. This will hold my hair, but the stupid elastic at the top comes undone constantly....like I need to secure it further in place. It holds the underside tight though, and I appreciate the flexibility on it. I just wish it were more of a clasp or buckle at top or something so it would stay in place.

My natural hair is thick and naturally curly. Growing up I had a bunch of the traditional plastic banana clips, but they always ended up hurting by the end of the day because they were pinched go tightly to get all my hair in. This thing solves that problem. It's super easy to install and the stretch band on the bottom and the top lets me place it where I need it to feel comfortable and still allows me to close it without pinching my hair. I will definitely be buying a few more of these as this will be my go to tool for pulling my hair back and away from my face. I haven't had any issues like other reviewers with the bands snapping, but I also don't want to take the chance. I've been wearing mine all week and it seems super durable for now.

I was skeptical because of the reviews, but it works so well. Gives such a nice voluminous ponytail. I have thick curly hair and have no problem with it snapping or stretching. It even kept my hair secure while doing intense physical activity.
