URO Parts 63120027924 Headlight Adjusting Element

The parts themselves are fine. But they’re mislabeled or I misread somewhere. I found out -after- pulling my headlights apart that these are for pre-facelift and I needed them for facelift headlights. Car was down until the correct ones came in.

This worked for my "plain" E39's halogen, non-halo system headlights. Delivery time was nice. The part is poorly designed but I think it's the OEM who designed it badly and not the aftermarket parts.

Perfect fit on my 1997 528i; replacing the adjusters took about two hours total.

So i have an 01 540i with xenon factory lights, i bought these because my adjusters were broken but this was the wrong part, i needed the ones that look like  BMW E39 2000-2003 Headlight Adjuster Angel Eyes Xenon Halogen 528 530 540 M5 Pair . But becuase i had my headlight open and went throught the trouble i used these to install one and now have my headlight working well enough again! Thanks again URO parts for making my 5 series afforadable!

This item worked perfectly for my 1997 BMW 528i (E39).The procedure to remove the old brittle parts and install the new parts is not difficult. That said, I probably wouldn't have tried it if I hadn't found videos of others experience on YouTube.My only complaint is that it took about 3 weeks to receive the items, despite indicating that there were 3 or more in stock.

I ordered two sets of these to replace the old broken adjusters in my E39 (00’ 528, pre LCI). They do their job and didn’t present any issues.If both of your headlights have broken adjusters, order two sets of these.

Works perfectly on my BMW E39 528i. Use silicone spray to make the plastic easier to work with and harder to snap

Great and cheap fix for an expensive problem however you'll need some basic+ skills to fix your headlights
