Next Level Apparel Men's Tri-Blend Rib Knit Hoodie

With a pandemic I ended up being able to telecommute from home. I live on four acres of Southern Arizona desert so I've been able to get outside a lot during the day to get small chores done between meetings and teleconferences. As we've had a scorching summer, I reverted to shorts, long sleeve shirts, Chacos and a Henschel hat (see review). I got the idea of picking up a sun shirt with a hood for working outside. That way if for some reason I wanted to wear a ball cap or just didn't have a hat with me that second, I could just throw my hood on to go outside for a few minutes. Worked beautifully!I ordered this and another version first due to the low price so I could basically get a proof of concept. These first two ended up being a little thicker than I liked but they were still very comfortable and good quality. This shirt is extremely soft and comfortable against the skin but too warm on a hot day. It worked very well for the few cool mornings we had this summer. (I ended up looking for some more lightweight Sun shirts with kangaroo pockets at the summer became one of the hottest on record. You can see my reviews on those.)I ordered Large. I am 5ft 10in (70") and 183 lb. While not in great shape I am not overweight either. This is a tad bit looser fitting than the other brands but will hang better allowing it to be worn as a casual hooded shirt out in public. (The lighter weight Sun shirts are just a little too "beachy" for me as apparel worn out in public.)Overall, well worth the money if you need a comfortable, soft, lightweight hooded shirt that will also work on mildly cool days.

I expected the shirt to be a little larger based on reviews (and I prefer a slightly baggier long sleeve). Those who say that it's very broad at the shoulders, I have to disagree. I don't have broad shoulders at all and the seam barely came over my shoulders. Soft material and I love the hoodie. This is going to become a lounging shirt for me.

Nice kinda expensive

Super soft and comfortable!!! Feels like a thin high quality sweater blended with an athletic/gym pullover; almost silky, soft cotton feel, a little stretchy...will lay nicely over athletic contours if your body, but not too tight like a muscle shirt! Pretty much perfect and I LOVE the color (tomato red, almost coral color...perfect!). You will love how this feels in your skin...no undershirt. If you wanted as a cover to go over other shirt, your undershirt would need to be basically a compression shirt or it may look silly as this is very thin and would likely bunch unless both shirts were perfectly fit? I ordered a large (5’10’, 180 lbs). If you are muscular and want to wear this over other shirts, maybe go up to XL? If you are thin model/stick build, you can probably wear a medium for “skinny” style look?

I am still waiting for China to start manufacturing the Hanes extra beefy t shirt hoodie type which disappeared from the global marketplace a decade ago never to be seen again. This is as close as you can get. The material is soft, comfortable, but not heavy duty. They shrink a little so I ordered one size larger this time. Well made t shirt hoodie. All I can say I wish there was a heavy duty version, as the old Hanes version provided some relief from mosquitos, better sun protection, and had incredible durability. For those in the KNOW, and travel off the beat and path, the function of a T shirt hoodie goes beyond a fashion statement. They protect from harsh sun, with a hat, can be used to block insects, and if you want to rest your head on the back of the seat while on an old bus in a third world country, no problem. Please somebody bring back extra beefy cotton hoodies, and go up to XXL size, don't skimp.

I bought this in a 1x in purple and liked it so much that i bought another one in a 2x in another color. I plan to buy a few more and my only complaint is that they need more color variety.The jersey fabric is very soft, lightweight, and comfortable. The hood is very large and not tight. This is especially nice as i have very short hair and when my head gets cold, my whole body gets cold. The cuffs were the only things i was worried about since this style of cuff can sometimes irritate my skin or feel restricting. No worries, they are not tight at all.I'm a female who is roughly 200 lbs with a VERY ample bosom. The 1x fits neatly without being tight. The 2x is large enough to be comfortably baggy (like a boyfriend style shirt). If you are similar in build to me and prefer to hide your body, go with the 2x. if you're comfortable with showing a little figure but still enjoy a looser fit, go for the 1x.

I have bought many of these shirts. While I love the thin material, every package that's arrived, when opened smells horribly like cigarette smoke. I have to immediately wash the shirts to get the smell out. Just an FYI to the shipper. Great shirt overall especially when freshly washed.

I rarely write reviews, but this top was so perfect that I had to write and let others know! I recently became obsessed with long sleeved t-shirt hoodies, and have found it very difficult to find ones that look and feel great, so when I saw this brand and read the reviews, I decided to take the plunge and buy one. I'm so glad I did. I wasn't sure which size would be best; I'm a female who is 5'8 with a larger chest, so I went with the XL. I can tell that if I wanted it to be more form fitting a large would have done that, but I preferred the XL, and found it a perfect size. This top is very comfortable in addition to looking great. I have already placed an order for 2 more, and I truly cannot say enough about how much I love these shirts!
