Moon Touched (Zodiac Wolves Book 1)

Four stars
Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

Good despite the youngish heroine
I wasn’t sure if I,would enjoy this as the heroine came across as very young, even though she had supposedly graduated college. It also loses one star as a cliffhanger, which is a pet hate of mine.

Loved it 💗
I was in such a book funk after not reading for a while and then reading a not so great book. Then I picked up moon touched 🤓. What a breathe of fresh air i was hooked.Ayla is a great lead character that was dealt a bad hand in life and this story is about her becoming one of them kick a#ss heroine we all know and love . I can't wait to see how she gets there 😎. She is definitely like the underdog that you just love to route for.Let's not forget our heart throb of an alpha 💗 hes definitely book boyfriend material. I can't wait to get my teeth in to book 2.This is the first book I have read by this author and think I'll definitely be trying out other series 😎

I’m hooked
Ayla is the daughter of the Cancer pack’s alpha so you would think she was privileged. But you would be wrong, because Ayla is also half human. A reminder of her father’s sordid affair. As a result, she has been shunned by almost every member of the pack. Bullied and beaten by a few, most of all her father. So when the night of her Convergence comes around, she is hopeful that getting her Wolf will change things for the better. And even more than that, she hopes that she will be mated to a member of another pack so she can escape the Cancer pack once and for all.But be careful what you wish for! Because she is mated to the alpha heir of the Leos. And it turns out he’s just a bad as her own father. So when the Leos all turn on the Cancer pack and start killing them all off, Ayla does the only thing she can: run.She finds herself begging the lost pack, Ophiuchus, for help. They take her in as a prisoner at first, extremely wary of her as they’ve been burned by the other Zodiac packs before.Additionally, Ayla and the pack’s alpha, Kaden, are inexplicably drawn to one another. Even though she is mated to Jordan. It’s almost like her mind and body are screaming that Kaden is actually the one. But how can that be?Can she prove her loyalty to the pack and finally have a happy home? Or is she destined to be rejected by all the men in her life, including Kaden.Oh Ayla! The poor girl has been mistreated her entire life, rejected by her father and basically her entire pack, only to be rejected by her mate at the mating ceremony, then rejected by a man she can’t explain her attraction to! My heart just went out to her! And yet she still maintains a positive outlook, is kind, caring, and feisty. She may be internally stronger than any other shifter out there. And Kaden. Le sigh. Strong, broody, grumpy, but with so many layers. And once we discover his reason for rejecting Ayla you just want to take care of him too.A decent amount of action, an interesting insight into what it could be like as a new shifter, and some spiiiiiiice!A cliffhanger ending so I’m off to book 2!

Brilliant
Really well written, intense, joyous book that will have you haunted by the characters and constantly wondering about them. My only bug bear is the ending ... So sudden and leaves one somewhat stunned. This is not a stand alone book at all.. it is part of a series and the next book is not released until November. For this reason alone consider reading it in late October to save yourself the wait!!! In all honesty though this is well worth the money and the time . Very well written.

Amazing
I'm new to this author but just wow.. I was at my daughters dance competition today and started reading and just couldn't out it down. I'm pleased she's old enough to get her self on the dance floor. I only put it down when she made the finals and won. Which is something I've never done before. Can't wait to keep reading to see where the story goes

Not a Completed Series but compulsive reading !!!!
This is one I saw recommended on TikTok it’s an unfinished series with 2 of the 4 books published. It took me a while to get into this book I will admit. Although when I did get into it I was all in.Ayla is a human/wolf shifter, but as a half breed she is looked down upon by her Cancer pack mates. When she reaches 22 she goes to the convergence to get her wolf and meet her mate. She gets her wolf and does meet her mate but he rejects her as he is from the opposing Leo pack. A brief battle ensues and most of the Cancer pack is killed.Ayla manages to escape her mate and is taken hostage by the unknown, legendary and reclusive Ophiuchus pack. But is she a hostage? And this pull she feels toward Kaden? Will she join the pack? Will she finally be accepted? It’s a good read.⭐️4

A whole new take on shifter lore.
A surprisingly excellent read. Gripping from page one throughout entire book. I devoured this read in one day. Filled with angst, suspense, action and slow burn between characters. A wonderful play on zodiac, shifters and witches, a completely new take on shifter, witches lore that is enthralling and captivating. Absolutely worth the read.
