Perfect size for Teddy bear hamsters. Any smaller and they can't move around very well. Simple to put together and light weight. Nice bright colors so easy to find. Doesn't make any noise when they roll around in it.

Very nice size. A little hard to open, but is a good thing as animal can not get out. Plenty of air holes and easy to get your hand in it to clean. Very easy to assemble. Very hard plastic. Love how it is clear to see my pet.

Worked well a couple weeks but since lid wasnt "attached" but kind 9f a thin fit and twist type, the tabs broke and lid closure wouldnt stay in place and pet couldn't use one lid no longer locked in

I got this for my pet Sherman, a rescue rat, when he was only 4 weeks old. He was only a few inches long at that time. Sherman is now 17 in long and still plays in this ball. It's a little cramped because he is so big now. He gets plenty of exercise outside of the ball. Yet he still like to go in it and has free choice. I set it snugly outside of one of his playpens and when he wants to go for a roll, he will walk in and out and let me know. Then I grab the top and just attach it and let him roam around the house until he's done. When he's done, he travels it back to his playpen entrance. Then I let him out. The ball is pretty sturdy within reason. The opening takes a bit of savvy to make sure all the parts are fitted together before letting the thing roll. It is easy to clean. Even though it is 13 in in diameter, it's a little small for a rat this size. I wish they made 15 or 16-in exercise balls! When Sherman plays in it, his tail seems to warp over to the side a little. It would be better if his tail could be straighter behind him. But since he only ambles around in it for a a couple of minutes, and not fast at all, it serves its purpose. He also has a 12 in diameter exercise wheel. But this ball allows him to roam around the house and be safe. It's worth it to see how He gets enrichment exercise and play time.

this ball is nice because it's big and I feel like my hamster is more comfortable in it than the smaller size balls. However, I continue to have trouble with the lid. It's kind of frustrating to get it to close and then right when you think it's closed one side keeps popping out. The lid came off while my hamster was using it but thankfully I was there and able to get her before the dogs did. It's easy to clean.

This ball is super easy to put together and use. My only complaint is that this size 13" is heavier than most balls.. due to size. Clearly that's bc it was made for crazy chinchillas and the durability needed there. My ball python is 2'5" and still has so much room to grow which she will bc she's only 2.5 years. She escaped her own cage and has been trying to explore ever since. This 💡 came into my head and it's been genius. She gets time out of the cage. The dog gets to watch her be contained when she's out. It's going great lol. Hoping she will figure out how to really use it but for now she can only manipulate it a little at a time with her weight not offsetting the roll well enough. But the BALL itself is fantastic. Well made. Highly recommend.
