easy to install in a 3D print, just make sure they go into the print correctly and you will have good results.

Not too much to say on this one — simple product.The threads are smooth, machining quality is reasonable. They sink nicely into plastic once a soldering iron is applied, and hold firmly.. does the job excellently. I use these for mechanical parts made with a 3D printer.I’d buy another set if I ever need more.

Reviews of different types showed these with the slanted knurls hold best. Easy to insert into plastic part (with hot tip - I use a clean soldering iron). Seem to hold well even when only inserted into front of a part (where bolt will be pulling it forwards). These make a neat job, the threads should last (threaded plastic does not) and overall they have a smaller radius than a nut so can be used where space or accessability is limited.

These are great little inserts so far. I have used the in 3D printed models (PETG) for mounting point and to secure on lids etc. The Knurled pattern looks like it should hold the insert well without twisting once inserted using heat, pressed into the model with a soldering iron in my case. This is my first set of inserts so I cannot compare them to anything else but they have definitely lived up to my expectations, wish I had tried them sooner.

Turned up really quickly and does exactly what it says in the tin. I will have absolutely no bones about reordering again when I run out.

As expected - not had any issues with the threads either.
