I keep promising myself that EVENTUALLY I will manage to buy a 25g tin, because WOW. I use Saffron A LOT in my bakings, brewings, and noodle making, and this Golden Spice Co. Saffron is AMAZING. The 25 is always conveniently "too much for this month" or out of stock, though... So I mostly stick to the 10g tins...PLEASE do yourselves a favour and TRY THIS. only £12.99 for a 5g tin. You'd pay £4 or £5 in a supermarket for (Schwartz always used to sell Saffron at about) 0.4 grams per jar.I say... DON'T!THIS GOLDEN SPICE CO. SAFFRON IS THE BEST. I am really happy with my purchase! I will most definitely be buying this product again. The saffron had an amazing coulor to it and tasted great! Really good quality saffron! On top of that the packaging is really nice.

Good colour and taste

I don’t know if the person that said it was fake had a duff batch but I also know when it’s fake. In my opinion this is the real deal. Beautiful colour, flavour and scent. Takes a while to steep in the milk for pilau just as it should. Have just ordered a 10g pack.

Proper authentic saffron. Lovely flavour and beautiful colour, really makes a dish shine. I even use it for tea as a caffeine-free alternative. Would certainly recommend.

Agree with the reviewer who's said it's fake. Bulked up with other parts of the flower! Disgraceful. The bulked up parts lose colour soon as they come in contact with water, the texture and aroma of the adulterant is also a very good give away!
