The fit is perfect I went on the Tilley web site to get the right size as the US/Canadian sizes are different from the UK, I haven’t used it yet out doors but I have to say it’s a very well made hat

Just w-hat I've been waiting for...
Saw lots of people wearing Tilley hats on a recent holiday and thought - I want one of those. I'd considered one before but never got around to buying one. Despite a bit of confusion with sizes - finally I have my Tilley hat and in the 'Tilley' colour. Don't know why they call it Olive/Khaki but... Love it to bits.

Love this hat
Never owned a hat of this quality before and I have to say it makes such a huge difference. Yes it's more expensive but so far after 6 months of use it's still like new. Would certainly buy again if it ever does start looking too worn.

Tilley HatNot cheap, but extremely high quality.Impressed by the build quality, and the straps are cleverly positioned to stop blowing off.This model is well ventilated and resists excessive heat build up.

Great hat, but the colour is NOTHING like the photo
These hats are great. Functionally they do everything you need. They are packable, lightweight, water repellant, and ventilated.Unforunately, I was not happy with the "olive" coloured hat which is actually a dark green, and not a brownish colour as suggested by all the photos. In fact, it doesn't even slightly look brown in the real life. The colour name "Olive" should have been a clue, but the photos on Tilley's own website also make it look a brown to brown-green colour. So, sadly I sent it back and instead ordered the light grey one. The photos really do need to be properly representative of the product, otherwise it is reasonable to suggest they are being mis-sold.

Fits big head
Finally found an awesome hiking hat that fits my big head. No more tight hats. Now gentle fit on my head. Check sizing chart for the biggest sizes.

Light, waterproof hat.
The hat it light weight, waterproof for a light shower, fits well. But follow their suggestions on fit.

Finally treated myself to a beauty of a hat!
The Tilley Mens or Womens LTM6 Broad Brim hat (in Olive) lives up to the hype. The fit was what was to be expected and guided by the fitment procedures in the Ad. Great finish and attention to detail. Tried hard, during inspection, to locate any “issues,” and there were none. Zero. The hat is perfect! Used it today for about 3.5 hrs on the water and was very comfortable and surprisingly cool. Highly recommended! KS
