Viper RS-V171 BL+ 3.0 Bluetooth Flip-Up Motorcycle Helmet - Black

Got it on a flash sale for £170. High street price is £200/£225 so it was good value. Helmet is great and the audio is good too.

I had the same crash helmet before loved it, the only problem is the last time I ordered it I got a size better and I wish I did again, I’m between sizes and I was told to order a size smaller and allow for stretch I wish I didn’t it’s so uncomfortable and I’m regretting the decision I may have to order the bigger size

Been looking for a modular crash helmet for a while that is comfortable tried shoei agv Harley Davidson bell and few more and none were comfortable and or not very flattering look wise. Tried on this viper modular and it is comfortable for me and looking good. Now for the but and it is the built-in Bluetooth and it's not able to connect to other device me and my wife use cardio packtalk and they are brilliant coms device's cost more than this crash helmet and worthy of their price. With this rubbish built in Bluetooth coms and seriously built in you can't dismantle it to replace it with a decent coms unit is a massive fault. Problem is that this crash helmet is good for me fit wise but partner hate's it and rightly so we all have different heads and one brand model may be fantastic for you but it can be the worst for someone else. Safety is bare minimum on this helmet but it is a cheap helmet i was just overjoyed it is comfortable and look good wearing it but then disappointment when trying to pair with a different coms. I wouldn't mind if you can at least remove it for a better coms unit but with it being cheap helmet on top of that it's not worth it. Back to looking and wearing my old 8yr old shoei jo.

Great helmet hopefully never have to try out the safety element of it. Easy to pair the bloothtooth so I can chat to hubby on the bike. He probably won't agree ☺️

The reason that this is my second Viper helmet is the first one saved my life.I wanted a Bluetooth helmet and took a liking to the skull version Viper used to produce, their rep told me that they stopped making that version otherwise I probably would have picked it again. As it is the bike I purchased to replace my written off one is gloss black and so I am now the owner of a gloss black Viper Bluetooth helmet to wear when I ride Black Betty, yes I like rock music. The quality of the microphone and speakers in the helmet are great, I happily ride along listening to Amazon unlimited and if I get a call nobody realises that I am on my bike,unless I tell them.My first helmet was written off when I face planted at about 55mph landing on my chin first judging by the damage and scratches on the helmet. Even as a flip front it saved me from losing my chin, unfortunately it could not save me from the road rash or damage to my hands and legs. Highly recommend this helmet in this price range, it does what it says in the blurb in the description. Cannot recommend it enough, oh and don't forget it comes with the pinlock, that's gotta be worth another 20 quid but before you buy one make sure you get the right size, measure your head. Ride safe, ride defensively 'cos there are idiots in cars out there, peace.
