We were familiar with this saw before we bought it and are not dissapointed, although I would say that most of the magic is in the specialized blade. Easilly cuts through solid and tube stock. Steel blade cuts aluminum very well too, leaves almost a mirror finish. We did have an issue with the first one we received, the output shaft had about a mm of runout. Would still cut ok, but the factory / Amazon exchanged it. Need to take some care engaging the work slowly and let the teeth cut without a lot of force or you can start loosing teeth, and when you do, the noise goes up dramatically. Our bandsaw is now semi retired.

Coming from the old cutoff saw this tool is like night and day difference, cuts like butter and so clean. No longer do I have to take my grinder and clean up every single cut anymore. The angle stop pin and the protractor measurement guage is a huge plus for doing angle cuts. Very heavy base as well. No dislikes at this time , used the saw to cut material that I will weld up a mobile stand for the item.

No more Abrasive wheels to buy and no more sparks to contend with. I am thoroughly satisfied.

The media could not be loaded.  This PRC made saw appears well built. The designers paid attention to detail with many conveint functions. The customer service has been good. Time will tell if it holds up. I wonder how much more it would cost to manufacture it in the USA.

Why did I wait so long to buy this saw? If you're on the fence about spending the money on this saw stop thinking about and pull the trigger. This thing cuts through steel like a hot knife cuts through butter. I will never use my chop saw ever again.
