These are perfectly shaped and sized modak (indian sweet) molds. We used it on ganesh chaturthi. Like the idea of sending different sizes. Quality of the molds is super awesome. I am still giving it a 4 star, taking away one star for the cost. It is outrageously expensive. These are 200 times higher that what they would be in India. I get a little mark up for the convenience, but this is insane.

I loved this cute moulds of modak. We actually prefer making a lot of delicacies using this moulds during festive season. These moulds are really made to perfection with right materials being used.Good point is they are very easy to clean, simply hand wash them and they are clean.The outcome of the modak is really carved to perfection.Best part is you get a big batch of identical looking modak easily.

These can be used for any steamed foods. They were crafted for the Modak Indian dish( also called kolukattai in Tamil - another Indian language) and offered along with prayers. The flour is shaped and sometimes they can be stuffed with coconut and jaggery and steamed. These three molds are great to make them into dumplings without too much effort.The price is high for these 3 peices.

One of my friends makes soaps AND candles; I'm willing to bet the cost of postage that they will be able to put this to good use.

These molds are used for making sweet dessert for Ganesha chakuruthi. The one I bought earlier is made out of plastic but cheap quality. This plastic is good quality and the molds come very good. I like the medium ones which comes is a good size for making stuffed ones. They are easy to make and come out with breaking.
