We have a larger 1400 gallon hot tub that gets a ton of use due to Airbnb'ing our guesthouse. Let's be honest, Airbnb guests will test the limits of your tub and chems. With just a quick squeeze, this stuff works great and within seconds to get rid of all the suds from lotions and detergents and sun screens, etc.

This Hot tub & Spa Defoamer works great. I applied just a few quick streams directly from the bottle over the foam with the pumps running, and the foam disappeared instantly. The application was quick and with great results to prolong the water quality and enjoy my hot tub for a few more weeks until the weather improves as is too cold to replace the water now. Also, the foam did not return after a week from first defoamer application.One important part worth to mention, I checked the chlorine, chemicals level and overall water quality with test strips, before and after using this defoamer liquid and I noticed the CyA Cyanuric Acid levels increased and pH level decreased a bit, but not a lot. I think I applied too much defoamer.The recommended amount is 2 ounces for hot tubs and spas or 4 ounces for swimming pools. Can repeat application after 24 hours. Also, it’s mentioned on the label as a general instruction to pour 3 ounces per 300 gallons or (1000 litres) of water. Next time, I will use this as a rule.In rest, the package included 2 bottles of 32 oz with sealed caps and sealed both in a bag for transportation, no leakage found. I liked the easy pur cap on the bottle, is very convenient and practical. Also, my family and I didn’t noticed any skin or eyes irritation. Thanks

I’ve been having some issues with foaming when the jets are on high in our hot tub. Tonight, I turned on the tub and waited for a minute for the foam to get pretty thick, added just over half an ounce of the product (350 gallon tub), and the foam disappeared in less than 20 seconds. It was really amazing how fast this stuff circulated through the tub and basically completely removed all of the foam. When I turned the jets off and gave the water time to settle, I was happy to see that the water was just as clear as always. Those who are complaining about cloudy water likely added too much, or have other issues with their water chemistry. A very little bit goes a long way. I’d recommend measuring, as it’s probably easy to add too much if you just squirt it in. Also, give it some time to work before adding more.The price is also much better than some of the more well known brands, and it’s probably going to take me quite a while to go through two large bottles of this stuff!
