Very high quality
I am a French Chef from Périgord in France. Traditionally I prepare foie gras in différé ways for Christmas. Living in the USA it is always a challenge to find high quality affordable foie gras. I order this year from Hudson Valley via Amazon . I received a top quality product quite amazing very little purge when cooked and phenomenal flavor. I will definitely use them again.

Poor color, seal and quality
Very disappointed with this purchase, flesh was golden brown, not white like an "A" grade should be. Size was on the very lower spectrum that matters at this price per pound. Bag was sealed but not tight helping to discolor the foie gras. If you are expecting a beautiful light colored lobe, don't order this. I have used Hudson Valley before, and this was not what I expected

Terrible
This product is disgusting. Foie gras is a diseased liver of a duck that was tortured to death. This product needs to be banned for the betterment of the treatment of animals and the people of society! If you think this product is a luxury, you need to rethink your ethics and standards! Foie gras is so dirty, morally, ethically, literally, for the animals and the people! We can’t live in a peaceful, healthy world if we are torturing animals, and eating diseased duck liver.. there is something seriously wrong with this. Hudson Valley Foie Gras was also cited for cleanliness in their water systems and they have a high probability of spreading bird flu and other diseases. Wake up, people.Also, buying something like this on Amazon is just gross and disturbing. I hope it gets banned worldwide.
