Renewable Energy : Sneideman, Joshua, Twamley, Erin, Brinesh, Heather Jane: desertcart.in: Books Review: This book is a comprehensive treatment of renewable energy (and climate change and energy efficiency) but targeted in an engaging way at the middle school audience. I am really impressed with how accessible they make the information -- that covers everything from the actual facts of all kinds of renewable energy, energy efficiency and even nuclear energy; to the history of energy; the types of jobs that kids can strive for; and even the honest tradeoffs of different types of energy sources, including renewables. The book is nicely layed out and illustrated to keep kids engaged, and I love the many activities that can really bring the concepts to life. There are even embedded videos that can be accessed via scanner codes. The authors really seem to respect kids' intelligence and importance in embracing these issues as they begin to make decisions about their and their family's energy use. I highly recommend this book to families and teachers. Review: Great projects for kids. I think they will enjoy it.

Good book. I obviously didn't look close enough before I ordered because I wanted something for an adult, but it's a great book for kids. I'll pass it on.
