BEST BUY!! $$ MASSIVE LIGHT OUTPUT IN A TINY PACKAGE
If you are looking for a powerful Disco ball style spotlight, stopp scrolling, buy this, now. AWESOME price even if it was JUST a spot. But it has sound activation, DMX capable, plus a lot of programmable options. WILD. Ordering another two. In the photo, the spot is circled in red. About 4' from a large Disco Ball. Filled an entire dance floor with giant beams of light.

Clean spot, bright, small to medium
Much brighter than anticipated. I used it as a hand spot on a small makeshift stage, and it was a nice clean spot. Works well on the DMX board as well. Only downside is the spot size is not adjustable, but I don't generally light more than 20 maybe 30 feet.

Cuts a great spot if you have the throw distance
I actually love these little spotlights. I recommend they be used in permanent or long-term installations as the switches and buttons probably wouldn't survive a lot of abuse. The best setup would be in a grid or ceiling with DMX control. These little spots do the job if there's enough distance between it and the subject. We had 38 feet of throw distance to spot our subject (shown in the pics). This was fine for our purposes, but it would be nice to have some ability to enlarge/reduce the size when dealing with other setups. Full color control is appreciated, as is the different modes. For the money you can't beat the effect it provides!

Nice sharp, focused circle
Great light! One thing worth noting is that you can see the projection of the 4 LED components reflect off the mirror ball. This looks fine unless your goal is pure white light.

Not great for mirror balls
The lights function pretty solidly for what they are. The major downside is that when used with a mirror ball the reflections are limited to red, green, blue, and/or white. Color mixing will yield different colors on a wall or floor, but on a mirror ball you only get reflections of the individual and separate LED’s, so when all four colors are active it kind of looks like the mirror ball is covering the room in thousands of Microsoft logos. Edit: Nov 2025 Also, I have tried these lights on two different DMX hardware consoles, and using software via an Art-Net adapter, and the results are consistent: all my other lights respond immediately and correctly to the DMX commands, but these pinspots may, or may not, or may partially, or may sometimes intermittently, respond to DMX commands. For that reason I am reducing my review to 2 stars.

You get what you pay for.
I use it for a mirror ball, I find it hard to focus, but for the price it's okay, you get what you pay for.

Beam angle is much greater than advertised. At least it was but now there is no mention of beam angle! Advertised was 8 degrees (from memory) but it's actually 10 degrees (which is a big difference when talking angles from close proximity). The "zoom" is not a zoom, it just collimates the different colours - so don't think you can adjust the beam angle with the "zoom lens". False advertising.
