I bought this to use for coffee brewing - specifically the built in timer feature. This scale is incredibly accurate. It's labeled as +/- .1 but this thing is dead on. I weigh coffee beans in a digital cup scale, grind them, then put the grounds in the filter/brewer and it comes out precisely to the gram weight that I initially measured.The timer can be configured in multiple ways (countdown or total time) and is super easy to use. Its lightweight, compact, and takes up little counter or drawer space. It has great battery life and the digital face is clear and concise. Very happy with this scale.

Love this scale! The display is pleasing, high-contrast and very clear. It has a silicone cover, and there are zero gaps around the screen and buttons, so it's easily cleaned and I don't worry about damaging the internals with water or crumbs.There is a tiny bit of float, typically less than a gram, and only occasionally. For example, I'll weigh out 19.3g of beans, seal the bag, and come back to 18.9g. It's minor enough and infrequent enough that it doesn't concern me at all.The readout is quick and responsive, and I love the timer. At first it seems a little confusing to switch between counting up and counting down, but after doing it once I have no trouble with it even half-asleep. Just hold the units button, press it again to change between modes, and use power & tare to set minutes and seconds if counting down (use play/pause to confirm each setting). Takes less than 10 seconds.Overall it's quick, accurate, and well-made. I love that it has a much smaller footprint than my old kitchen scale, and looks sleek on the counter. Perfect addition to my coffee station! I also highly recommend their gooseneck kettle if you're in the market ☕

After a year of use, I can safely say this is a great scale that does everything a pour over enthusiast needs with minimal drawbacks. The scale was a little cheaper when I bought it, but I would still get it at it's current price.I've done testing with my jewelry scale, and I found this scale to be very accurate and forgiving with where you place items on it. The display is bright and very easy to read, and it also has a nice and long lasting battery life. I'm sure this isn't the fastest reading scale out there, but the speed it reads while pouring is plenty fast for me; especially compared to your typical cheap grocery store scales. The best way I can put it is that I've never felt like I overshot my desired amount of water because the display was lagging behind.A few more small things I enjoy about this scale are how quickly it turns on and tares out. It has a little hole on the bottom for hanging. So, I put a little screw in the wall and can securely hang it when I'm done using it. A boon for small counter space. Also, the spill-proof design has actually come in clutch for me. No issues after some bad spills. Finally, the timing options are great and well implemented. It is a very slight hassle to switch between count-up to count-down, but I'd argue it's not even that bad.The main gripe I have is that temperature fluctuations seem to make the reading drift. Even with the nifty silicone cover, the sensors seems to add or subtract depending on how hot or cold the weighed object gets. A problem for making pour overs. However, I just put a little hot pad between the scale and carafe, and that fixed the problem for me. Now I get stable reads with no noticeable drift on the displayed weight. Keep in mind, my scale was purchased in late 2023, so maybe they've addressed this issue.tldr; If you're looking for an affordable scale, made for pour over coffee, and you don't care about big brands or superfluous features, then you found your new scale! Just make sure you have a little hot pad, too.
