Really strong magnet
Very good magnet--lot of strength and very good 3M adhesive tape. One 3" strip holds my rangefinder on the frame of any golf cart, even after sudden pot hole shocks. Good product.

Great Magnetation!
I love it! I had broken the glass on the side of my computer, and I was using screws to put it on and off. I had to set the glass just right so the screws would fit. I accidentally dropped the glass only one inch from the computer to the table, and it shattered. My nephew told me that some computers would use magnets instead of screws, so I ordered me plexiglass and these neodymium magnets for a stronger hold! Now when ever I need to clean the inside, I just remove and replace the plexiglass without removing any screws. I love it!

strong magnet
i have been searching for a strong magnetic tape and this brand is by far the best that i have found, but you will have to pay extra due to the Neodymium magnets. others that are non Neodymium could not even hold their own weight.

Stronger Than I Expected
Needed something to hold kitchen knives in a convenient location in a couple different locations. I was happy to discover that one of these strips was strong enough to hold a solid cleaver knife with no issues of sliding off the strip. Nice and sturdy with one strip so using double strips makes for complete confidence they are NOT coming off that wall. Nice.

good adhesive, but the magnets are weaker than implied by the photos
on the plus side, they have good adhesive, and will stick to a clean surface. the magnetic effect, unfortunately, is much less strong than the featured images would imply. no way would i trust serious knives to these strips. even light screwdrivers can be easily brushed off. the magnetic effect is really suitable only for things like screws and, at most, Allen wrenches. knowing that, it can be useful on e.g. a desk or workbench to keep bolts from getting lost.

Adhésion lot adequate, magnetic hold more than adequate
If the strip came with no adhesive strip, that would be preferred over what is has. Falls off after a few days. 3m vhb holds up the best, but I found superglue to do the job the best for the inside of wood cabinet.

Not what you’re looking for. Does not have the strength advertised.
Took a shot on these, hoping they’d be stronger than other flat/thin(-ish… these are pretty thick). They’re not in any noticeable way. If they do use neodymium magnets, the process of crushing them and putting them into a plastic/gel formed flat strip (and introducing all that negative space) kills the strength of the magnet.I have really strong (hold 600 lbs each), bulky welding magnets that have a twist activation method. As strong as they are, if you introduce too thick (doesn’t take much) of a spacer material between them and the substrate, they quickly lose effectiveness. That’s exactly what’s going on here (regarding non-magnetic “negative space”) and shouldn’t have been a surprise. I was just hoping for more, maybe a breakthrough of sorts (which the price could warrant), per the stated effectiveness.Continue your search. I’m resorting to incorporating a solid/whole magnet solution. (Not crushed powder formed into a strip)

Big improvement in magnet's strength other choices but tape to hold it on ripped off a week later
This tape was a big improvement in the magnet's strength other poor choices. I removed another brand I wasted my money on and this gripped firmly for me. A caution, however. This tape's thickness is not even close to their claim of being .08". As shown in the photo below they added a layer for their adhesive completely white in color not even shown in their ad. With its protective clear tape removed it measures .127" thick. Believe anything else to your own detriment. To my shock a week later the entire adhesive ripped right off the magnet leaving nothing to hold it in place. That left the magnet stuck to the wrong side of the surface I intented leaving my investment entirely useless!
