This book is the premier compendium on love magick for the modern practitioner. I would argue it is one of the best books ever written on the topic. Herkes expertly executes a multi-dimensional timeline of love magick through the ages, along with ethical considerations, spellwork framework and modern rituals to fit the needs of just about anyone. The best part about it is it’s written through a clear, concise and contemporary lens that is easy to understand and follow. I would suggest this book to anyone looking into this topic. I was excited to purchase this. After reading through it, nothing really stood out to me except maybe a couple things. For this to be a "Modern" book, it wasn't up to par for me.
