L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate - Liver Support Amino Acid - 100 grams (3.5 oz)

I use this as genetic testing shows I am a super poor ammonia excreter. I take a level teaspoon daily in water. U can increase the amount of water if you do not like the taste. I take it on an empty stomach with no problems. My ammonia levels are good. I also take body bio call mag butyrate which also binds to ammonia and has other health benefits as well. My genetic test was 23 and me and was interpreted by my doctor.

The label says one serving size is one rounded teaspoon or 3g. I used a teaspoon and took one serving size for 3 days in a row. Each day I felt absolutely miserable after taking it. I felt like I had been poisoned, and only after 12-15 hours, when it seemed this product was finally out of my system, did I start to feel better. Finally I decided to weigh how much a teaspoon actually was to ensure I was not taking too much. A *flat* teaspoon weighed 5 grams. Following the guidance on the label (which was covered because they covered the original barcode and all of the useful instructions with their ASIN label) I had been taking 2-3 servings thinking I was only taking one. The result was feeling absolutely awful. Their inaccurate measurements and directions lead me to question why I am paying multiple times more for the same product than other brands. I thought this brand was more trustworthy, but I unfortunately learned the hard way that they are not.

I'm using this in conjunction with Lyme disease treatment. I have a gene mutation that enables my body to eliminate ammonia, and this supplement allows my body to do so. My ammonia levels were dangerously high prior to using this, and now they are non-existent. I mix it with a little bit of water and drink it each morning- no taste to it.

a life-saving product, but too expensive for the amount that my dad has it take for his hepatic encopolopothy (high blood ammonia) this product is costing me $50 to $60 every two weeks though there's any way possible I could get on some type of subscription with you save me at least $20 I would greatly appreciate it as it's a great product and life saving one at that..

We are using this product to lower my mother's ammonia levels as she is undergoing an intense Lyme disease protocol and it was able to lower it from 112 to less than 40. Great product.
