I bought this for my huge land of sand, I have 4 dogs so this was to pick up the poop shift it from the sand this is a fantastic tool for the yard. I’m able to clean up and moves and shift through the sand to keep things clean in the backyard!!

We purchased this for my daughter to use to sift the sand in her pigs pen! It is perfect and works great!

I did not buy this to rake up sand fleas, but thought I would try it to rake up and sift chicken 💩. I use Sweet PDZ granules for my coop floor and for the pit under their roosts. This acts almost like a kitty litter, clumping so I can just scoop it and sift with a kitty litter slotted scooper so the loose granules fall through and the clump says in the slotted spoon. I got this for the same purpose, for the main floors because it’s such a large area, it would take longer and involve bending/squatting hunched over.. sooo this is a sturdy item and overall worked well for MY purpose. With that being said the bottom part is pretty heavy, heavier than I would like. I have to use two hands in order to help it sift, which is fine and doable, but if I had my choice it would be much lighter… I can’t imagine this would be easier to rake up wet sand, which is much heavier than my dry granules. I’d also angle the rake part down a little also because when you do rake it glides/skims the top and it takes more effort than it should to get it into the granules…overall it does what I want. I will replace if I find something lighter, but this works for now.

This product was easy to put together, but was not easy to take apart. Sand would gunk up all the parts, the handle kept on falling off, and it seems like we were constantly having to put the screw back in.

This rake is heavy duty. Was surprised it wasn’t lighter than it was. Definitely worth it’s value

Large capacity made finding shark teeth easy and fun. It's a bit large and heavy, with some sharp edges - but works great.

Item came missing pieces. We taped and used our own screws to attempt to fix. Flimsy. Hand grips slide. So many fails.

I have sand as the litter in my chicken run and in my chicken coop. I looked high and low for a tool that would allow me to easily soft the sand without bending and squatting and using a small hand scoop. This turned out to be the perfect tool.
