Installation was a breeze. No issues whatsoever.

A perfect replacement for an original parking brake assembly that just decided to stop latching down. New one works perfectly.

Installation is difficult, but had to do it to restore parking brake functionality. I chose this piece because it cost much less than the OEM part. Since it is made by a subsidiary, I figured it would be identical in quality, and it is.

I needed a replacement that would not break the bank. And I found it. After doing some research on a Colorado Fans website and discovering that the Colorado, Canyon and Hummer H3 use a lot of common parts I avoided a big Mechanics bill. This is the second part that I have replace avoiding a big Mechanics bill and the part was common across the three types of cars. My Colorado is a 2004 so some parts that are failing are due to old age. But wow to have a little mechanical know how you can save yourself 100s of $$$.
