Bag is great but not necessarily for gel pens. I will be buying a bigger one for the pens so that I can space them out in the slots. Very pretty bag. Zippers work well and it is sturdy and easy to carry!

I really like this new organization for my colored pencils. It has many compartments to hold many pencils, but I honestly ran out of room. I'll need another one just for my water color pencils! I like everything about this. The only thing that would be better is to have some way to just zip and unzip with just one zipper. Currently, the unit has several zippered segments, so you have to unzip or zip all of them if you are using various colors. It would be better to just be able to unzip one zipper, flip it open and flip through the sections.

I had an old box of colored pencils that was broken, and every time it tipped over, I was left picking up pencils and trying to figure out what order they were supposed to go. I needed something that was secure and found this case. It came in different colors, and I bought it and have put my pencils into it in the order they go, and I always know where to put them back. There is enough room to put other sets as well that I have. So far, I am enjoying having one place to store most of my pencils. I can easily carry it from one place to another by the carrying handle, which makes it easy to take it anywhere you are going and know that they are secure.

Holds alot so much better than digging around for what want

I was debating between four stars or five because of the fact that the case does not hold anything larger in diameter than the standard pencil, at least not without great effort. But then, it is advertised as a pencil case and not as "holding all pencils and markers" case. And as such, it is absolutely great. The quality of the case, the zippers and the overall workmanship is excellent. I did want some of my slightly thicker brush pens inside and solved the problem of them not fitting by carefully cutting the thread underneath the elastic on some of the connecting spaces. It was not an easy task and not really recommended as it requires pulling up on one half of the elastic, while trying to cut underneath to loosen the thread. This runs the risk of cutting the elastic itself, possibly making it useless. For me personally, a couple of hours, a couple of blisters and a couple of ruined slots later, it was worth doing, as now my slightly thicker brush pens also fit into the partitions. If there is one slight negative I have found, it is that the zippers seem to want to "hide" under the top where the handle is located and have to be "dug out". However, I soon realized they slip into that part in order for the case to lay flat like an open book when being used. The little bit of digging to get them back out to close the case is a small trade-off and well worth it. Overall, I can highly recommend this pencil case.Update: I just ordered a second smaller case. I wish there were 10 stars to give. The same outstanding quality as the larger one. What sets this brand apart from some others is that the company invested in adding a zipper for each section instead of one zipper encircling a rounded 2 or 3 inch pouch. The zippers, when opened enable the "pages" to lay flat making it extremely easy and comfortable to take pencils in and out. What a high quality item for such a good price. I wish they (this brand) would have a case like this for markers.
