Awesome Rail!
Got this for our 12 year old skate board nut case and he shrieked when he saw it under the Christmas tree! Of course he immediately called his friends over and we assembled it. All parts were there, the rail was assembled within 10 minutes. First impression: very sturdy and well built. Boys took it to the test and their feedback was: "awesome", "gnarly", "11 our of 10", and "BEST rail EVER!". So it is fair to say that it does more than just the job. It comes with various rods to adjust the hight and the boys kept it on the lowest hight today. My son said that other rails would slide off when jumped upon from the side, but not this one! He is totally stoked. We have not tested stability when taken it to the full hight yet, but with such positive feedback at a low hight, we hope for a solid product that will not tilt or slide on the higher settings.Product seems indeed be very good. All connections are welded solid, the screws have the necessary strength in diameter and thread to withstand the beating such a rail takes. Product Manager has done a very good job in building this. It has everything of a smart design: flexible (can be adjusted in hight and can be connected to additional rails), safe (edges of rail are round which does not impact skating fun, but limits danger of cuts and bruises, and there are solid caps on both ends), solid (sufficient gauge steel used, connections are well dimensioned and connect tight, no sliding of rail), and well priced in its peer group (there are cheaper ones but one often gets what one pays for and this one is definitely worth the extra dollars). They had to put on some wax on it to be able to slide well, but that was to be expected. Also take a picture before the first use, because even after the first use it now already has wear marks to show for. But that is to be expected as well.Shipping was faster than expexted. It came 6 days faster than originally anounced. Box was sturdy, packaging was good. Only "negative" was that that the assembly instructions were for a different product. But we did not need them for a fast and easy assembly of this rail anyways (and neither would you) so we did not care.Overall: price somewhere in the middle of field + lightning fast delivery + sturdy packaging + assembly like a breeze + excellent first impression and usage test + our skateboard crazy kid has nothing but a big grin on his face = grade A product and five stars! Absolutely recommend this product. Well done and THANK YOU!

It's a good rail
It seems like a great rail, and seems really sturdy and was totally simple to setup, the only 2 complaints would be:1 - The legs make it so you cannot take a perfectly parallel approach path, depending on where you are trying to jump on to it. I think this is just a universal thing all rails like this have to be like though, if it's not anchored down to the ground, it's totally necessary to have some support that sticks out the sides.2 - It's actually not possible to screw in the lowest possible height configuration holes, because the handle on the screws are too large and get in the way of the other. But this is totally fine because the 2nd lowest setting is perfect and low enough anyway. Finally, I feel like the rubber on the feet isn't the most optimal material, and only covers the ends. I feel like the rubber should be much "stickier". It doesn't slide around on me, but still. It would also have much more sticking power if the rubber covered the entire feet, instead of just the tips.Oh and of course the caps are useless, take em off or they come off right away

Well worth the money
No instructions are in the box and they send two pair of legs. I assume one is for skateboarding height and the other for BMX, but it's confusing when first setting up the rail. Which only takes about 5 minutes. The rail is very stable and the rubber pads really grip the pavement. Even when its slanted or just not level, it doesn't want to move around or slide. It weighs about 20 pounds and fits in my BMW with the back seat down. Made from high quality metals.. This thing will be able to take years of abuse. The lowest setting is just high enough to ride off a large sidewalk onto the rail. The highest setting is almost knee high, i guess.Plastic end caps wont stay on. They pop off anytime you slide off the rail. The adjustment knobs are to close together on the lowest setting, so you cant tighten the rail down. It still works fine, but it raises up a little when you come off the rail. Which is very noisy.I was curious how tricks would feel on this rail, as i've never skated one like it before. So for anyone interested, maybe my experience will help....*Boardsliding is very easy and it goes low enough for beginners to learn on.. Its perfect for all skill levels and probably not as slick as you'd think.*50-50's may take some time to adjust too. The rail feels very wide under my trucks but my 53mm wheels cant really lock in with the round edges. Slipping out happens almost at random, for anyone i've seen skate it.*Smith/feeble grinds took work at first. Unless i got into the trick perfectly, the king-pin would stick or the wheel would slip out. Since the paint is wearing off, the king pin doesn't stick as much though.*Nose/tail slides are pretty typical. Much easier for me on this rail, than a regular flat bar or round rail.*5-0's/nose grinds/crooks are probably my favorite grind to do on this rail. The wide bar lets you feel balanced without much effort. But again, the round edges will make crooks slip into nose slide easily.*Blunt/nose blunt is the only trick i haven't landed on this rail.*Hippie jumps are fun to do over the rail. If you haven't learned them, this is a good place to start.

Finally something worth the price! Great quality.
I have a 16 year old boy who loves to skateboard and ride bikes. I pondered what the buy him for christmas, he's the spoiled child that has everything. This was perfect and he loves it. The box was damaged UPS when it arrived. Must have been a rough trip. When we went to assemble the rail some part where missing. I suspect they fell out of the hole in the box upon shipping. I called the company and told them I had not received these certain parts and they shipped them to me within 3 days, no questioned asked and they were very apologetic. Great customer service and the product is well built, heavy duty, excellent quality I would not hesitate to purchase another product from them.
