Viva Doria Hickory Smoked Sea Salt, Hickorywood Salt, Fine Grain, 2 lb

Wow!, I like some different Smoked Salts and some other spices such as Smoked (Spanish) Paprika and this Hickory Smoked Salt by Viva Doria is very nice and because it's more than just a blend of some hickory liquid smoke flavoring with the salt and I mean it carries the actual smoke aroma, flavor, and sweetness with the salt and the smoke flavor and so it that really does make this such a very good product. I am a vegetarian and I like to have big flavor with many things and that includes some sauces that I make myself and I also make several different BBQ sauces and also several different Horsey Sauces and so this was a very pleasant surprise for me as a recent version of the Hickory Smoked Salts that I tried and I am most certain going to use this product in several sauces and that includes some BBQ Sauces to increase the natural smoke flavor and aroma, spice, and sweetness by as much as "an additional" 1&1/4 TBLS of this Viva Doria Hickory Smoked Salt per Gallon of BBQ sauce or other sauce (Since, I don't want to introduce any possible vapor being turned into a spoiled head on any of my sauces) and whilst using the salt on many things from Vegetables, Veggie Burgers, Veggie Hot Dogs, Sushi, Chili, Stews, Soups, Pizza, Spaghetti, Pickles, Relish, and several other things and thank you for the Salt and I think it's a GREAT VERSION of the Hickory Smoked Salts and a really GREAT PRODUCT!

I have been buying smoked salt for years from a different company. Based on the reviews for this one, I thought I would try this as I had not been that happy with the other brand for a while. It had started to seem kind of bitter to me. I am glad I ordered this, as I think it has a much better flavor. I like the texture better as well, although I could not tell you what the difference is! It just seems easier to use on many foods, without overpowering the taste of the food itself. I will stick with Viva Doria going forward.

very good value amongst many very expensive brands. it's smoky and delicious. if you are a fan of smoked sea salt, you will get your money's worth for sure. I already went through two jars worth of this in just a couple months. I put it in everything. the grainy texture is unpleasant on raw things like avocado toast, but for cooking it's superb.

I use this on most of my steaks and chops. But it's very easy to use too much. Very strong salt.

I love this salt I use it to kick up the flavor of burgers,ribs ,stakes even chicken.

This is awesome! A small amount goes a long way!
