If I add other products, like leave-in conditioner, the waves aren’t as defined—they end up softer and less wavy. So for best results, I use it solo. I rotate between this and a leave-in conditioner depending on the look I’m going for, which makes it feel like a great value for the money. Another bonus is the scent—it smells absolutely amazing. It also arrived clean, sealed, and brand new, which I always appreciate. Overall, if you’re looking for effortless beach waves without needing an ocean nearby, this texture hairspray is definitely worth trying!

I have tried multiple other products as my hair has gotten wavier in my late 40’s and Ouai is far and away the best for my fine wavy hair, I use the spray and the mousse depending on what I feel like that day. Both are great for air drying hair, holds well, makes hair feel soft and smells great. Does not weigh hair down and holds all day

First I LOVE the scent! So I kept seeing videos for “Irish curls” and asked chat gpt about products. It recommended this along with a light mousse. Used it after shampoo before bed and let mostly air dry, planned to use wand to finish hair in am. Woke up with volume and beach waves! Can’t wait to see how this helps hold a curl I put in. My hair feels extra soft as well!

I love this product and it boosted my hair texture as promised. The bottle sprays well and the spray dries quickly. Refreshing the waves the next day(s) was easy - just a spritz of water and a scrunch. I think the wave spray even sped up the diffusing process for me. BUT, the scent is so overpowering that it gave me severe migraines. I had to stop using it. Beware if you have migraines! The scent doesn’t dissipate for hours and hours.

First I want to say that love how the product works. If I could rate this separately I would give it five stars. However the fragrance is strong and smells very flowery and just like you would imagine an old lady's perfume to smell. I would use this everyday if it weren't for that. Hopefully they come out with a France free version soon.

okay apart from it just being helpful in bringing out my waves, it smells so good. if they made a perfume out of the smell of this, I would be the first to purchase!!

I got a sample of this in my ipsy glam bag and I liked it so much I now started using it regularly. I have tried several wave sprays and this one and one other are the best for me. I have fine hair with uneven curls, this helps to make it look more consistent in its texture.

This is one of the nicest things I've purchased ever! It smells beautiful and gets lots of compliments, it's lightweight so hair stays nice and soft with good frizz control. Quality is great overall. It not super effective in terms of creating waves in my hair but I think thats down to my hair rather than the product!
