I bought these to trim my horses bridal paths. Do not work well.

had to get a 3mm nut to replace the nut that hold everything together because honestly, it's a decent clipper for what I paid. The cap is a plastic part painted silver with a rubber bit inside. Keep the rubber part. I wanted something I could keep with me that didn't use power, but this is 100% a cheap manufactured product and if you wanna be more conscious of what you buy, maybe go on another platform. If you need to shave your head for $10, it'll work. It's gonna come in very oiled and the directions are in Chinese. You are paying for cheap mass manufactured goods. If this is an issue, you can find better ones for $40+ more that might have been made 1920 that still work. Long term, I think taking it apart to clean after every use (or once a month) and replacing the plastic after it breaks, it'll last. Keep the rubber part so the metal doesn't fuse. If you need to care something to shave and you don't know that you'll have power, it'll work. YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT. You need to consistently squeeze and release. Shaving your whole head or the sides you can see would be a good starting place, but you have to learn how to use them without pulling on your hair. Don't be scared of them. I have yet to cut myself. and I cut my hair weekly. First week was a little uneven, but just had to go over it again and we're good.
