She loved I Wrote the Zoo book. I looked up the author and bought 2 more by him. She loves those flaps. She feels like she is doing something really important....(she is 17 months) They are fun little books that she gets to have a part of

It’s a cute story and my kids love it

Very repetitive and uninteresting. Even the colors of the book are dull

I bought this because we LOVE Rod Campbell’s “Dear Zoo” book. This is nothing like it. I won’t be keeping this book. It isn’t a story at all.It just says “I went to where the —— (lions, elephants, etc) live. But there weren’t many left. That’s because we need to look after them better.”On every page it repeats this.No thanks. No fun. Not a real story.

My kids love all of these

Not very impressed with this book, unfortunately. It shows a picture of and names the animal, and then it just repeats the same words, over and over. Something to the effect that we need to look after each animal, so they don't become extinct. But, its the exact same words every time, so it gets pretty boring real quick. Definitely not the same entertainment level as Dear Zoo, I'm afraid to say. Pretty disappointed with it.

My little one loved Dear Zoo so I purchased this thinking it will be similar. This one is not as fun. Great message though but my little one is too young to understand it and does not seem to be as excited lifting these flaps as her other books.

Thought this would have been a good addition with the rest of the series but sadly mistaken. I do not recomend this book at all. The zoo one and oh dear are great - this one not so much.
