No bark collar
I like that it is not a shock collar. I like that it Is a humane approach to getting the unnecessary barking under control. It will take a little time to ensure the dog understands the message.

Take some adjusting but good overall
***I have been using the collar for about a month to give a proper review***I have a pug who could bark for minutes nonstop when anything happens (like a leaf moving outside...). When he wears the collar, I see a HUGE difference. The first time of the day he barks until the first vibration, but the other times he stops at the second beep. I love that it doesn't shock him and is rechargeable. I do take it off and turn it off for the night to extend battery life. I did have a learning curve with the sensivity levels, some were way too sensible and the collar beeped when he yawned. It could also be less bulky.

Remarkable success !
I'm a passionate, many years experienced dog/animal lover and the thought of using a "device" to help control my dog's incessant barking was reprehensible. Our dog is a 4.5 year old collie mix, a strong, vital, happy, loving but stubborn boy. He is also extremely bright. I took him to many classes and persisted with every training recommendation. I exercise him daily. Nothing I tried changed his barking habit. I felt utterly helpless. I would even have to accompany him outside, in all weather conditions for his late night bathroom trip, so as not to disturb the neighbours. After talking to our vet, I was told that even with the best owner efforts, some dogs just refuse to control their barking. So feeling defeated and frustrated I began to search for a HUMANE COLLAR..(.that it NO shock or pain). I came across the DogRock vibration collar and decided to give it a try.It remained in the closet for 3 months, as I really hated the idea. Finally one day, I felt I had no choice but to give it a try. I read the instructions thoroughly and very carefully applied it. I set it to the initial recommended #3 level, which provides 3 short beep warnings then after the 3rd. bark it is accompanied by a short painless vibration. Our boy's habit is to loudly and continuously announce his arrival to the back yard. He ignored the first beep, noticed the second beep but continued to bark. After the third beep with the brief vibration, he was really paying attention. The barking stopped and he came quickly back to the house. I had such mixed emotions. Relief that he had stopped barking, but such guilt !!It took about a week. I have never returned to the third setting. Now it is set to either #1 (just one short beep) or remains completely off (but on his neck). He learned quickly and now rarely barks except the odd short one. MOST IMPORTANT THINGS WE LEARNED: He only wears this for his back yard trips, not in the house. We accept some indoor barking for the usual things (i.e people arrive on the property, whilst playing games etc) This is natural healthy dog behaviour. He is no longer "worried about" of the collar beeping, he understands that nothing happens unless he barks......so he doesn't ! He is his usual happy energetic, fun loving self. Eventually perhaps, the collar may only be needed intermittently as a reminder.I can't express the relief our family feels....and the neighbours !I regard this as a learning for both our dog and ourselves. We use it very sparingly and have had nothing but wonderful results. Thank you DogRock !

Within 15 min we had a new dog!
The media could not be loaded. Our 2 year old mini schnauzer hates anything and anyone not part of his normal routine and is met with a barking fit and charging towards the object. Cars, neighbors, visitors, etc.We tried the handheld devices, but they were not practical: one needed to constantly be close by and he started to resent the person using the device. When we have guest, we had to always keep him away, he would NOT "get used to them", even repeat visitors or overnight guests. The collar had not arrived yet, so the latest visitors had to endure his terror for a day. Here is the timeline for using the collar (with the same guest he had been terrorizing for a day already):*I put on the collar turned to level 3, thinking, let's start low, strongest level is Level 7.*He started his usual barking fit. The collar correctly and every time recognized his barking and remitted the sound and vibrates.* he did this three times, got confused because he didn't see a person doing it.*he stopped and went to his "safe space" (the bedroom). It is important for the dog to be able to retreat to a space he feels the "threat" (i.e. guest) cannot follow him. We made sure no guest ever entered this room before.*we went about our business, sitting in the kitchen.*after 5 min, he peeked around the corner, NOT barking. I immediately praised him with a treat. He stuck around.*I put a treat trail to our guest and our Schnauzer took the bait, literally. Still no barking.* he walked around, I kept praising him. Eventually, ca. 10 min into it, he jumped onto the window seat and just sat and watched, as usual, when we have no guests. (See picture attached). He continued for the rest of the night to be his calm usual self.*Testing the collar outside: Situation: a truck next door making noise, the neighbor was outside with her dog. Normally our dog would charge towards them, barking his head of. As per the video, he still barked once, but everytime was ready to go, instead of being aggressive. I think in a few days, he might not bark at all anymore. We also tested the collar 5ft away from a different dog barking and the collar did not pick up the bark.AMAZINGThe collar charges quickly, all day use needs 15 min of charge to be full again. This review is for this particular product, but that is not to say other collars won't work.

Anxious Border Collie & happy parents
Life-saver!! I absolutely love my border collie, Percy, and humane training has always been a priority with him. His bark though, was not to be loved. He barked at absolutely everything and drove my parents insane, but the bark collar has reduced that to some whining and woofing. The little woofs are cute and he hasn’t lost his weird joy noises though I could definitely do without the whining which the collar rarely picks up on. The battery life is great, I charge it maybe once every two weeks. The little light on it is nice when we’re out in the yard at night but super annoying when we’re in the bed so I wanna put tape or something over it. But most of all - he can finally ride in the car!! He hasn’t been able to ride in the car for well over a year since he was a puppy because he usually lunges and barks and snaps at ever passing sign & mailbox. Like tries to eat them through the window. Goes absolutely insane. The trainer called him a “special case”. But with the collar and some good exercise beforehand, he barely even flinched at one mailbox before settling down and relaxing the whole ride to the lake. Absolute game changer and will be buying the newer model.
