I take it with my detox supplements. I burped it once, (empty stomach) and that told me it is what they say. Take with food if burping is an issue.

I take Turmeric Curcumin daily. To reap the benefit I need the black pepper extract in Carlyle Bioperine. It's useless to take Turmeric without it. It's what causes you to absorb the curcumins. I get the inexpensive Turmeric at Walmart. They seem to have one of the best prices. I supplement it with the bioperine. Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I get all sorts of wonderful healing from either of these herbs. I heard of Turmeric probably 25 years ago and started back then. I heard about the black pepper ext. shortly thereafter. A very well know cardiologist touted it way back then as a general anti-inflammatory/antioxidant that we all should take regularly. His theory was that Curry Powder, which is essentially what Turmeric is, was the key to why people in Southeast Asia (India) suffer much lower rates of heart disease. I'm sure you're all aware that Indian dishes feature Curry powder. I enjoy them too. I said at that time, What the heck. It makes perfect sense. It's a relatively cheap herbal supplement, why not? Hopefully it's giving me a little help for my Cardiovascular system. I think I'll need it since my genetics suggest that I'm very likely to face that pretty soon. I'm 59 and I started around 35 so with a little luck I'll have helped myself out. I'm not a big supplement guy but this one I am on the bandwagon with. You might want to consider it too. If you do don't forget about Bioprene.
