Generic Sofa Cover Replacement That Fits IKEA Ektorp, Color: Blekinge White, Cover for IKEA ektorp Sofa (Love Seat Cover (2 Seat))

I came back to write a review because I was very skeptical about buying this product, but I am so glad I did! A little backstory.... I own the IKEA Ektorp ottoman. I wanted a white cover, so I went on the IKEA website and bought what I thought was the correct cover. For IKEA shoppers, it is worth noting here that I went on the IKEA website and ordered the cushion based on the photos and not the product name. What I ordered was called Uppland, and I did not know the Ektorp collection was discontinued. I believe that IKEA is trying to dupe their customers into buying the Uppland covers, because what they have there are pictures of Ektorp (full zip around the bottom, holes to screw in the feet, etc). What comes in the mail is actually very different and does not fit Ektorp. Back to this Amazon merchant... I was skeptical about buying the cover from them even though they said it would fit. They let me know that it was in the original packaging, so I went for it. I am SO GLAD I made this purchase. The cover is actually for Ektorp, it fits perfectly and it is a perfect match to my seat cover. Thank you so much!

This IKEA-Ektorp-style cover in White is so perfect. The cotton twill fabric is heavy and tightly woven. The seamstress quality is excellent, and I was a picky professional seamstress for many years. It fits snugly and perfect. It arrives wrinkled. You can spritz it down with water and see if that helps get the wrinkles out, or iron it with steam, but please iron it on the reverse side so it does not leave streaks or residue that may be on your iron. This took quite a while to arrive at no fault by the seller. The global shipping delays made it take longer, and it was stuck in customs in Houston for days. I was in regular contact with the seller who is a real sweetheart. I communicated with seller through the Amazon chat. Then I figured out how to check the shipping progress myself on tnt.com with shipping #.I assure you that you will be happy that you waited for this to arrive.
