SmartyPits - Natural/Aluminium-Free Deodorant for Sensitive Skin (baking soda free) Paraben Free, Phthalate Free, PROPYLENE GLYCOL FREE, Not Tested on Animals 90ml (Eucalyptus Spearmint)

I’ve tried about 10 « natural » deodorant brands. This is by far the best one. The ones that contain baking soda work fairly well but eventually cause my sensitive skin to react and get a lovely rash. The other ones that don’t contain baking soda don’t work and I smell gross. This is the only non-baking soda brand that works. I don’t know what they’ve done differently or if the « probiotics » are actually doing something, but this product is more effective (in terms of odor) than normal antiperspirant is, and it doesn’t make my shirts turn yellow. It even works if I already smell a little, or if I shower at night and don’t apply it until the next morning, which most other products can’t handle. The eucalyptus/mint scent is lovely. I suppose I wish the product were a little softer - it can be hard to get it to rub in, especially in a cold room. But it’s a natural product made from coconut oil, so...whatever. I think the price is fair as well...the tube lasts a few months. This stuff is legit and I have already repurchased (trying the cucumber scent).

The product works- I didn’t smell like anything which was good. The problem was it was so dry, it felt like my skin was being ripped off as it was being dragged across my underarms. It gummed up around the edges of the tube and then clumped up into balls in my armpit. Ultimately it was too uncomfortable to apply so I won’t be using it anymore.

The scent is a little grandpa-y because of the spearmint but it’s very subtle someone would have to put nose to pit to notice. It’s not sticky.. I wouldn’t describe it as creamy it’s more like a soft wax. I tried lavanila and I was smelling like a forgot deodorant 3 hours in. 5 hours after applying smarty pits it’s still going strong. It smelled just as it did when applied for the first 3.5 hours. 5 hours later I’m not smelly but if I do nose to pit there’s a faint celery smell but by no means do I smell of BO. I would be able to meet up for happy hour without reapplying namsayin. Not sure how it would do in a shirt with sleeves... it kinda sits on top of the skin. I’m sleeveless today (usually stank by lunch time using traditional deodorant with sleeveless shirts). I think it would leave noticeable residue on a tight fitting shirt with sleeves. When this runs out I will order a different scent. Overall it’s a good one. Oh don’t forget if your changing from regular deodorant to natural your body goes through an adjustment period what better time than now since many of us are working from home?

I've tried Toms, Schmidts, Pit Paste, Lavanilla and none of them worked me. I am a female who sweats not perspires! Other natural deodorants I've tried that contained baking soda sort of worked but then my shirts were ruined and permanently discolored so any with that ingredient were out for me. This deodorant without the baking soda blend stays put and even though I may still sweat it does a great job at reducing the amount of sweat but also keeps the smell at bay. I'm extremely pleased with this product and will keep purchasing. The eucalyptus spearmint scent smells clean and fresh and not too strong. I also like how this product goes on compared to other natural deodorants, it is smoother to the touch and once the heat of your armpit touches the stick it goes on easier than other brands in my opinion.

I LOVE this deoderant. It smells heavenly and it works. It lasts for a few hour after application and it's truly amazing. My issue is that the deoderant actually breaks as you twist it up rendering about 25% of the product completely unusable. Now this has not only happened once. This has happened with every single product I've purchased making it such a waste of money. Please fix your component.
