Lights up my garage/shop really well

These are very light, very bright, and very easy to install with minimal effort. You will not be disappointed. We have a local food market that uses these, and they've had no trouble.

These lights are very bright and fairly easy to install. They come on instantly which is great compared to florescent lights and use half the power which is also great. The light color is a cold, bright white and gives off great illumination.I wish the install packages had longer cables because if you use the pigtails that come with it, you’re going to have to be within 4-6” of a box. You can always cut open one of the light-to-light connectors if you need a few more inches, but it would be nice if they just made the pigtails about 4” - 6” longer.One of the lights in my package of four was defective out of the box. It tripped the GFI outlet immediately upon install, making me think my wiring job was bad. After troubleshooting it, I found that my wiring was fine, but the light had a ground fault internally. In the picture, if you look closely you’ll see I disconnected the ground in the box, which allowed the light down the circuit to light up.Fortunately, I only needed three total, so I simply swapped the bad one out for a good one (and reconnected the ground) and threw the bad one away.A while ago I bought a 10 or 12 pack of these and all of them worked fine, so hopefully this is an isolated incident. Still, when you buy four you want all four to work.——-Update——-After posting the above, the seller contacted me. I did not contact them. The seller issued me a credit for 25% of my purchase price to compensate for the defective light, even though I tossed it in the trash.I did not expect this level of customer service nor did I even think to ask for the refund. They simply offered it. They did not ask me to amend my review either, I’m doing this simply because it’s the right thing to do.I upgraded my original rating from 3 to 4 stars.I may purchase again as 2-4 more lights in my garage would be nice.

I dont typically take the time to write reviews. But I felt it necessary to write a review on these lights. I finally got around to getting them installed and they are remarkably brilliant. I can’t believe at the brightness and the ease of installation. If anyone needed a spokesperson for this product, I would gladly be the one!

Update: after initial issues with a few of the units, customer support was able to send me an additional set to replace the bad ones. Replacements worked great and match the original set. Light output is awesome and the beam angle is wide enough it covers quite a bit of my shop even at only 8’ up.They do get pretty warm, and I anticipate that 12x4’ will warm up the space a bit. Too be expected, but some people don’t realize LED’s still get hot.Original review:Output is great and the through connections are excellent. Lots of cables with them to setup however I want.Unfortunately, of the 12x 4’ bars, 10 light up. 2 are dead on arrival. And one of the working ones is clearly damaged at the factory. (The external and internal packaging were all pristine when I received these)I’ll be contacted the seller looking for replacements and I’ll update if they resolve this issue.

Amazon keeps refusing to print my review. If they dump thgis one I am going to sue. ShopLED refused to honor their published warranty by ignoring my emails to them after one of the 4 pack lights failed. Amazon would not honor anything because it was over 30 days and they told me to contact the seller/mfg which I did. It was a complete waste of time. Clearly a company located in China like ShopLED is not the ideal company to trust.
