Hamax Traveller Two Seat Bike Trailer + Stroller

For other parents with older children like my son who is seven and are looking for a good bike trailer to carry their kids around in this thing is great! We have only used it once so far being that we just got it a few days ago .We have e-bikes and wanted something large enough for my son who is almost 4ft tall and about 50 pounds. The price was right and with no other reviews to go off of , we took a chance and glad we did. It’s meant for two children, so it has two harness straps which all we did was use a strap from each side and one lower buckle to strap him in and it works just fine.Even at 15mph on the e-bike he was safe and secure. It turns great, it was very shock absorbent when hitting bumps on the bike trail. And he seemed very comfortable on the ride. I know he won’t fit in it for to long, but for now it will do just fine . I was not trying to spend over a thousand dollars on a special needs trailer.It was very easy to assemble . It folds down pretty compact but still very large being its shape and hard bottom. But stores well in garage. Also the backrest for the child is slightly slanted for comfort, not to much padding though for the child’s seat but it’s ok. And the storage in the back with the Velcro cover is quite large. Snacks, blankets and a few other things.I know it’s meant for smaller children, but a bike seat just won’t work for us. My son is on the spectrum and railing and a seat pad is just not secure enough for our kido. He has a sufficient amount of leg room as well. Just not enough to stretch out straight.I hope this review helps.

Easy to assemble, good quality, would buy again.

Well built, collapses easy and conversion from trailer to stroller is very nice. Only complaint is the top buckles for the shoulder strap adjustment. Both my 1 and 2.5 year old hit their head or shoulders on the hard plastic buckle as you go over bumps. I tried many different locations, but none was comfortable for them. My 1 year old wants nothing to do with it after one 10 minute ride. Might be fine for older kids as the gap between shoulder and head is larger. Needs some cushioning or a redesign!

I have mixed feelings on this. Part of me loves this so much. It has such amazing features. It is super light, I love the room in the back. It is great as a stroller or bike trailer. We pull my two twins and they love riding in it. It has so many features for different weather elements. The sun shade is perfect for extra protection. The seats seem comfortable and it has a nice mat for the foot rest that is easy to clean.The things I wish I could change:When you fold it down and open it back up it is a bit hard to pull it all the way open. I do wish the sides were a net instead of plastic. On hot days it could definitely use more air flow. There are vents on the backs of the seat and back of the trailer but in 80+ degree weather the trailer windows radiate heat. Also if you have your child wear a helmet the seats put their head forward. It looked uncomfortable at times for them and due to the heat we ended up taking their helmets off and stayed on a safe bike trail.I like how the bike hitch stores underneath the trailer. Overall it is good just wish these items were fixed.

We took this trailer to Mackinac Island- it handled a 5 year old and a 30 lbs dog in the back of it for the 8.2 mile bike ride around the lake perfectly. There’s ample space behind the seat too for extra water or a back pack. The following day we converted to a stroller and walked around the busy bumpy streets, which again the trailer handled amazing. Can easily push with one hand. Quick install to the bike or stroller. Folded up nice and flat for the drive up. It has a metal frame and thick plastic coated canvas on the foot board. Totally worth the price.

Absolutely Amazing! We use this as a stroller for weekend strolls in the city and then for occasional bike rides when the weather is nice! We absolutely enjoy how it maneuvers and that we do not have to disassemble or lay it on its side when we store it in the back of our truck! We do feel however that we should have bought the upgraded version to recline the kids because they become very sleepy on bike rides! This is an excellent investment and we wish we knew about it before we bought our dual stroller because it fits all of our needs and meets all of our outgoing adventures!

Could use just another 1or 2 of width room for two kids but other than that very nice!!

The wheels are super flat!! :( good quality everywhere else tho..
