Whether out on a bass boat, kayak, or bank fishing this HUK rain jacket does the trick. Inner and outer Velcro bands along the wrist help keep rain from getting in the sleeves and running down your arms. Pockets are big enough for a multi tool and your fish gripper.Even ripping across the lake on a bass boat in cold and windy conditions the wind does not penetrate the jacket. There's no lining, so you'll need a layer or two more for warmth, but the jacket keeps out the wind and rain.That being said, there are a few things that I wish HUK would change. The hood is huge. You could comfortably wear an Ushanka (Russian hat) under there. Also, I wish the hood was detachable. But these are minor inconveniences. I would buy it again.
