Good all around lead easy to put in pocket when not in use

We had spent a fortune on leads, head collars, harness you name it then our neighbour watched us get dragged down the road on out way there* told us to try this. Gail, thank you. If you have an enthusiastic tugging dog BUY ONE NOW! *who knows where "there" is or why he needs to get there so quickly ...but he does.

Purchased one of these after my previous other make wore through the outer layer within six months approximately due to both friction and dogs teeth writhing at it. A year on and very little wear and tear, this for me is a quality slip lead for my cocker spaniel, so much so I have purchased another three, one as my dogs spare and one each for my brothers spaniels.As of 4/11/2023 I am updating this review to include photos of both old and what was the new, 4 months on. you can see both still in very usable condition, albeit natural wear for the elements and usual stresses. The leather bindings still perfectly intact as they are well stitched. The cord itself is an ideal thickness, neither too thin or too thick, and really durable in my opinion, As for the rust on metals that's to be expected from rainy days and to be perfectly honest I would add my lack of maintenance as to keep them in mint condition. Naturally friction burn/wearing where the slip happens frequently at her neck. It's a great length for allowing her to weave back and forth in front as she sniffs out on her adventures but also allowing enough to figure of 8 the lead into a halter if she gets too ambitious with the pulling.I noticed in a review I read at some point about uncomfortable to hold, never had any problems with that feels fine to me as i do not hold the hand loop directly in my grasp, instead threading my hand through the loop and using the back of wrist as its rest and the leather binding held pretty loosely in hand I have all the comfort and control one needs.In the video I show firstly the old one followed by the most recent, both still in working order, and close up look at the bindings and metals in the accompanying photos.

It is light weightIt is colourfulIt folds up easy into the pocket.It is plenty strong enough. For any well trained dog. ' IF 'a big dog COULD break this lead..I would seriously look at the owner's ability to handle a dog.

Bought this as an aid to get my spaniel safely from car park to field/forest as she is very strong! I use it as figure of 8 & so Always use with her main lead as well . Theycan escape from fig of 8 if they flick it off their noses with a paw... Trainer advised me not to use it to take her for a long walk.
