The feel of the paramiltary 2 is immersive and comfortable to handle. Blade thickness makes for a great slicer right out of the box, however if I could go back, I would purchase it with a different blade steel. While slicing through very thin aluminum foil tape , the blade made contact with a stainless steel panel and it took a sizable chunk out of the blade. Expensive lesson learned.

I lent my old PM2 to someone who had the bright idea he could use the blade as a screw driver. Decided in replacing it to try the higher end Maxamet steel blade. Definitely happy with that decision. this is so sharp and love the grey handle. I had compared this with a benchmade that was around the same price. The benchmade felt like a toy compared to the Spyderco. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality EDC knife. Also will definitely not be lending this one out....ever!

This has to be the sharpest Spyderco knife Ive ever owned. Clean, great action, and deployment. This is my first paramilitary 2 and Im glad I decided to go with the micro melt maxamet blade. Its one of the best steels Ive ever owned and I own tons of folding knives
