BIG, WHOLE, FRAGRANT AND DELICIOUS STARS
Impressive! Big, whole, fragrant, fresh and delicious star anise. Perfect for SE Asian dishes and desserts, too. Make rice pudding with coconut milk and drop in a star anise and some cardamom seeds. Lush. Long best before date and a really good pouch seal means they'll keep for ages. 5 times the weight of the average supermarket jar for roughly twice the price means they're amazeballs value for money.

Big, delicious star anise.
I had just finished a shop bought jar of star anise and sought to replace it with a larger quantity. I was amazed at the wonderful aroma when I opened the packet. I filled the old jar with some and tightly resealed the rest of the new packet. There is no comparison between this and what I had before. This star anise is fantastic stuff. They are large, mostly whole and it only takes one to flavour a whole saucepan of plums from my tree which I stew slowly with no added water and a just a dash of cinnamon. Yum!

Great! Really good quality and lots of whole stars in the packet. A few part ones, but overall a lot more full ones. The contents have a great fragrance as well. Happy with this purchase, recommended!
