Product does reduce background noise but also speech, which I was hoping would be clearer. Maybe i bought the wrong item!

効果が分かりづらかったです。取説に書いてありますが、音楽を聴くときはできるだけ長い時間を装着して耳を慣らす必要があります。それから未装着の状態で改めて音楽を聴くと「何か音にザラつきがあるような？」という感じになって、再装着すると「何か分からんけど音の透明感が増してる？」となって面白かったです。使い続けるかというと、いちいち耳に装着するのがちょっと面倒ですね（笑）ヘッドホンに合わせて使うこともできますが、ヘッドホンのデザインによっては耳の異物感が強くなってしまう事があるようです。パッドが大きくて耳を覆うのに余裕があるヘッドホンが良いと思います。

Comfortability was fine. I didn't notice much of a difference as far as sound and how my brain was functioning as far as attention or possibly being too much. (I also use another set of earplugs.)I think I have smaller openings go my ear canals as I have to use smaller tips on all my other headphones and earplugs to have any hope of them staying in. These did for a time, and then I decided to try them outside the house, and one fell out. (I also have issue with anything in my ears if I'm eating because the motion seems to push things out of my ears.) It was an expensive little piece of plastic to lose, especially within two weeks of purchase.
