Creative Ideas 3" Solid Grosgrain Ribbon, 25 yd, Black

Black Ribbon that is a good quality. Worked great for applications that my wife was using this for.

This ribbon is a little stiffer/sturdier than what I can find at the local craft stores. So far it has been by far my favorite to use. I read several reviews where they had received rolls that had been stitched together. I order a roll of black and a roll of white ribbon and found that not to be the case this time. I will definitely be using this company from now on

I needed wide grosgrain to make shockcord channels on thick DIY underquilts for hammocks. This grosgrain served its purpose but it’s not what I’d consider high quality. When you hold it up to the light you can definitely see many, many, many tiny holes. It’s not as soft to the touch (more plasticky, less silky), as thick, or as flexible as other grosgrains I’ve used, and because of that it doesn’t bunch up as well when I cinch it. I’m a bit worried about the long-term durability, but only time will tell.

This ribbon is hard to find in stores in my area and I was so excited to find it on Amazon for the price I paid with the amount I received.

This is a stiffer/thicker grosgrain so it is really easy to work with. Great for bows.
