I installed under hood lighting led on my truck and the kit came with a switch that looked identical to these, but nowhere near the quality. I was constantly having problems with flickering lights and would have to mess with the switch to turn them on. Upon first inspection it was obvious these switches were much higher quality. The action was very smooth, the plunger didn’t have any play, the connector tab is thicker, I couldn’t feel or hear the plunger spring, and has a very nice finish without any rough edges. It’s been installed on my truck for a few months now and works perfectly every time. I know I’ll be ordering more of these in the future for some of the classic trucks I’m restoring.

Bought these to retrofit a dome light to my Can Am side by side so when I open the doors the dome light comes on. I had to rethread a bracket to match the threads of these switches but other than that it went pretty well, and they do work.

This unit was of better quality than the one that accompanied the under hood LED light system I purchased. Would recommend

Used to wire a hood open and a tailgate open lights on the dash. Can't tell from the inside of my truck if the hood isn't closed properly and with the bed cover I can't see if the tailgate is down. No worries now.
