Perfect solution for small spaces
On Prime Day I decided to upgrade my Alexa devices and purchase a few more so I could have a robot slave in every room. Once I set up the Echo Dot I purchased for my bathroom, I realized I needed some sort of cord management solution and a way to mount it to the wall using the top plug on the only outlet in the room. Every other solution I could find for cord management for an Echo required the use of the bottom plug on the outlet - but I need that one available to plug in a hairdryer. There are also several options that use the top outlet, but require mounting the device to the wall above the outlet, which is not an option in my room because there is a medicine cabinet direct above the outlet. Additionally, I needed a solution that did not require drilling holes in the wall to install, as I live in a rental.Enter the Mount Genie. This was the perfect solution for my small space! It was super simple to install. It hides the entire cord, lifts the Echo Dot off the counter (saving much needed counter space), and keeps the lower plug free!My only (very minor) complaint is that because of the proximity to the plug, the device sits ever so slightly off center, although I do not believe this would be the case if I had the plug in the other half of the outlet. This was an excellent purchase, and I highly recommend!

Amazing space saver!
Much sturdier plastic than I was expecting, very easy installation, the cord wrap is a huge plus over all other options available on Amazon, it looks amazing floating above my kitchen counter.

A good solution for space saving with the original Google Home
I had seen the video by "Tech with Brett" showing a variety of options for mounting the various Google Home products and when I saw this model I thought it would work great for a space-saving solution for me.So I got one, and yes, it works great and freed up the 120-volt outlet being blocked by the stock power brick for the Google home. The mount replaces the entire outlet cover and can be on either the left side, as I did, or flipped over and be on the right side of the outlet you're using. I used the included short USB power cord for my installation as I mounted it on an outlet I had already changed to include 2 USB charging ports for our charging station shelf. There is an included cover that is used on the bottom and underneath the Google Home that when used you can store the stock plug cord and use the stock power brick if using on an outlet without any USB ports. As I used the short USB power cord I didn't need to use the stock cord or storage cover. While not super strong it is plenty strong enough to support the Google Home securely and without any difficulty. So, if like me you are considering a space-saving solution to, like in my application, free up the space used for the Google Home and its power cable, this is a great idea, not too expensive, and I would recommend it!

So easy to install, and our HomePod mini fits perfectly on it, while keeping our bathroom counter clutter free

Almost perfect
Great idea. Sturdy enough for the purpose. Nice that you can hide your Echo cord.My only gripe is there is not enough space between the Echo and the back of the pedestal to make room for the cord, so you really have to force a bend in the cord, and even then, the Echo doesn’t sit in the center of the circle.
