Darn Tough Men's Number 2 Micro Crew Midweight with Cushion Sock (Style 1974)

I own 2 pair of the crew socks that I have had for a couple years that are a mix of different colors (woodsy colors) with a bear on the side. Mine are very fitting around the arch and leg. I love how cute they are! I wear them all seasons to work and everyday. I Received as a gift. This pair is for my husband. I was worried he’ll have problems with them being too tight around the leg and biting into him but these are not. He wears a size 11 to a 11 half shoe (US) and the socks are for a 10- 12. He usually wears looser socks such as diabetic or stretchy types socks because he has a hard time bending over and getting them on too. (He is 73 and a big guy). These Darn Tough Vermont socks are 63% merino wool to keep his cold feed warm and comfy and they have a cushion sole.

These are great socks. Very thick and perfect for winter, hiking, or working in cold weather. Unlike most socks, they don't develop holes too quickly and they aren't very slippery. These have a great fit, snug but not too tight. Neat design.

Bought these for travel and have ended up using them at home as well. Very comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. Very durable so far (and I love the lifetime guarantee from Darn Tough). Moisture wicking, quick drying, and handsome to boot. Yes, they're pricey, but for me this is a case of "you get what you pay for."

First of all they are expensive no way around it. That caveat aside, these have become my go to socks. I def would recommend them despite the hefty price tag. They are guaranteed for life for a reason! Well made in US of A. The major thing for me is the comfort they provide. It is superior to every other sock by far. And you don’t have to wash after each wear!!! TBH I haven’t washed mine for weeks and they do not smell at all! Idk how this is possible but it is truth. They have excellent customer service as well-I have ordered from them direct as well and they are very helpful. The reason I ordered through Amazon was just for free shipping. The one thing I will say is to be sure to note the difference between the cushion and not cushioned. For me using them at the gym primarily with athletic shoes and for everyday walking I love the cushion and highly highly recommend the cushioned UNLESS you plan to run in them. Then perhaps go with not cushioned. It will tell you on the description. I didn’t know the difference and ended up returning a pair of not cushioned cuz they just aren’t the same comfort level. The one other thing I have not tried is seeing if they truly honor the buy it for life claim so I don’t know the ease of this process and whatnot. I hope so because that would make me a customer for life! PS they look cool too!

Great socks! Pay attention to the sizing chart. I am a 9.5 and went up a size...they fit perfectly.

Darn tough socks are worth the money. The quality is worth it, the comfort is worth it, and the lifetime warranty and support is worth it. Take the plunge on one pair that fits perfectly and keeps your feet regulated in temperature and you won’t go back.
