Quality Lacking on Battery Cap - Update (One Star Removed)
After my initial review two-star review (below) I received a message from the seller offering a refund and stating that my mention of the design/quality flaw would be investigated. So I took another chance ordered a new unit in June 2023, and here it is not even six months later and guess what - the barb broke again. For the past couple of weeks I could see the end cap wasn't closing flush, which was interfering with operation as the batteries weren't snug enough in the housing, and even though I gingerly opened the cap, the barb snapped off, which means it was already loose. This time to keep the cap on tight I use a strip of removable surgical tape, which is better than my earlier attempt at a wokaround. So despite the first refund offer - I'm knocking off one more star for inferior product quality. At this point I cannot recommend this item unless it is rebuilt with more robust materials. The funny thing is old Bite Away unit I bought *many years ago* is still working with no broken bits at all (although it doesn't get quite as hot as I prefer, which is why I was looking for a different model to begin with).------ Original Review ------Overall I liked the unit, it worked well and got hot enough to do the job.One glaring issue though is the battery cap: it is rather flimsy and sure enough the little blue barb that clips the cap in place snapped off after just over one year of use (I only changed the batteries a couple of times and was never rough with it, so there's really no reason that clip should have failed). The only way I can make it work now is to wrap a rubber band around the end cap and the pocket clip to keep the batteries in contact.Of course this happens after the 12-month warranty.

Works great! Gets pretty hot if used consistently
This tool works so well to take away the itch from Mosquito bites. However beware if you have little kids you are wanting to use this on because the tool gets very hot when used multiple times in a row. But other than that it works super well!

Worked well for a while!
This thing was great for those super itchy bug bites. It lasted for a few years but eventually the plastic cap that holds the batteries in gave out and broke.

Perfectly match=ez bites relief suction tool+E-BiteRelief
The media could not be loaded. Mosquitoes are aroun in summer, I always get fretful by annoying bug bites in outside. I bought some antipruritic creams, but the itch comes back soon. I guess it's because there is still irritans under the skin, so it keeps itchy. I've bought the bug bite suction tool for extrating venom after bites. While I don't think this would work every time, expecially when eaten by tons of bites. So I bought this E-BiteRelief for a deeper treatment. I had 3 big bites this morning, firstly, i used the suction tool twice. And i could feel that one of bites still itchy, so I tried this Electronic Tool. I felt that it got a bit hot at first, and yes, I am sensitive for skin. I didn't think I can tolerate the heat so I just removed it from the skin after 5s treatment( I chose the 8s setting) Amazing, I didn't scratch that much and changes happened.

Invaluable!
I highly recommend the E-bite. The heat deactivates or lessens the sting of mosquito and ant bites. It really helps and works. Ants seem to love my ankles and I need to do something. It is easy to carry around and is a handy little tool to have. Also, i did have a issue with E-bite and their customer service and support is great. They are very responsive and want to do everything they can to please their customer base. Buy one! The money is worth saving days -- and nights-- of itching.

Failed just after 1 year mark, unfortunately.
Worked great when it worked, but ultimately failed after a little over a year. There wasn't any lead-up to the failure, it just failed to light the LED and heat up. I thought it was the batteries failing, but the batteries that were in it were fully charged. I tried another set to no avail. Unfortunately, the failure occurred just after the 1-year warranty. Bummer. It was going to be a 5-star review until it unfortunately failed on me. Back to heating the mosquito bite with my hair dryer until I can get a replacement unit of some sort in.

THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. DOES NOT WORK!
These people don't accept returns. You can get a refund if you jump through hoops with Amazon customer service though. You have to question any business that doesn't accept returns. Now for the reason why I was trying to return it: it simply doesn't work. There are ones out there that work, I have one I keep at home and it works great. I ordered this one to bring to work, as a backup. This one doesn't always warm up. It also doesn't do the correct time either (8 or 11 seconds). This type of technology works well on bug bites but this brand sure doesn't. That's probably why they don't accept returns. People are less likely to deal with Amazon customer service to attempt getting a refund.
