Author speaks about a lot things with no clarity or message
I have read other books by Deepak chopra but this one seems like he rushed the editing process. It says a lot about a lot of things, which sadly doesnt tie together and most of which doesnt make sense as to why its mentioned on that chapter. Too much information about something irrelevant to a chapter leads the reader off and the lack of a unique message from this book is a huge let down. I would say give this one a miss.

Deepak at his very best...a masterpiece, his ultimate work
I write review for very few books, though I read a lot. For this one I decided to write a review when I completed 10 percent of the Kindle book. After completing 65% I stopped reading to write the review. I have read almost all books by Deepak. I was his fan when I first read 7 spiritual laws of success. I got fascinated when I read the war of worldviews. However, so far I think his best was 'you are the universe'. Here Deepak not only dived deeper than that but kind of put together all his insights captured across more than 30 books. And by his own admission, in this book Deepak delved into the nature of reality without any inhibition in conveying his world view, centered around qualia revolution. Just like Mundukya Upanishad, this book offers a distilled insights in it's most direct approach.

A MUST READ
Leave everything and read this book that is superbly written, explained and articulated. Deepak Chopra is able to link science with awareness in the most fascinating way, which shows how deep is his awareness of the universe. A must, must read!

Not his best work
I also want to just preface this by saying I am a huge Deepak Chopra fan, but just finishing chapter 5 I find this slightly incomprehensible and not because I don’t understand the concepts in science or the zen I hit 83 on the test at the beginning. Chopra seems to be rambling a bit and heading off on tangents. Even using the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy sperm whale as a point. It’s very hard to stay engaged compared to something similar like Gregg bradens Human by Design book. I’ll keep going but it’s pretty painful!

No clear message
The concept of enlightenment (waking up) is not new; in fact it’s thousands of years old. More recently, authors and seers such as Eckhart Tolle and Jon Kabat Zinn have popularised the idea and with their emphasis on meditation have opened up a new way of life for those who have been badly served by the traditional religions. Unfortunately this present book by Chopra adds nothing to the literature; it is lightweight, rambling, confusing and repetitive. It looks like he is trying to show the reader that he knows a lot about physics and that his 30 day programme will bring you to Nirvana. This is little more than an intellectual curiosity. At the end of the day, it’s difficult to see what Chopra is actually trying to say. The message has become entangled in the briars of his ramblings.

Irritating pseudo-science
To be fair, I haven't finished the book. Nor will I. The shaky concepts that Chopra has attempted to tenuously link together, using "witty" analogies, has completely put me off. Perhaps there is the odd gem, deeply hidden later in the book, as a reward for stoicly trudging through all of the repetitive "proven" theories. However, they will always remain hidden to me, as I have too many other books to read, and probably not enough time on this Earth to get through them.Buy this book if you are disenfranchised with life, have an active imagination, and no respect for actual science.

Us being more than just flesh and blood
Brilliant book could bring peace to the world if people took notice. Bought this book for two other people, both suffer anxiety and fear of the future for more than twenty. One has now read the book and removed all anxiety which no one else has achieved. Free yourself from anxiety by purchasing this book.

A brilliant book.
I read this book after reading Yuval Harari’s Homo Deus and listening their debate on YouTube regarding what would be the supper human(our next evolution) like? Not only biologically but also our ability to understanding our inner self through consciousness… would it evolve too?In complicated/chaotic world we have created for us so far, what’s the future for us along this path? I don’t have answers to any of the above questions. Yes, as human we will evolve to a superior human being, but what will it lead us toward? I’m so, so curious. The books like these give some food for thinking. Also, in which direction I would like to pursue rather than getting carried away only to find myself in more chaos even in this life! Knowing myself better seems a good idea. Understanding the consciousness and it’s true role at large and within myself, is pin pointed very well in this book.I hope all of the above makes sense to those reading this review. Anyway, just read the book, it is brilliantly written. Thanks.
