The engineers who designed the collet connector should be kneecapped some dark night.
Okay here goes: The good, it fits my K596 kitchen faucet from 2017. I won't knock the people that make these things but the engineers who designed the collet connector system need to have their degrees revoked. The video's all tell you that it will only take you 10 minutes to perform the hose replacement. They lied. In a perfect World maybe, but I spent about 1.5 hours trying to get it to release under the sink. In theory it sounds good, except most people have water hoses attached, a garbage disposal and drain lines with power cable in the way, and working in a 7 inch space between their wall and the sink while doing it on their back. You have absolutely no leverage. I took a YT posters advice and removed the faucet so I could actually get some leverage on the collet and still had a hard time pushing it up while pulling down on the hose (Hint: use the weight that is on the hose to push up on the white piece while pulling down on the hose with a pair of pliers bracing them against the weight to pull the collet out little bit by little bit till it's out). Seriously, if they just used a regular fitting it would probably take 10 minutes to unscrew it and attach the new hose. As for durability I think a stainless steel hose would last longer than the nylon braid around a plastic hose but it did last 7 years before leaking. We'll have to see how the new one holds up.

Perfect for Kohler 596-CP-HC
This product is exactly what I needed to replace the hose on my Kohler 596-CP-HC faucet. I am not handy at all and was a little worried about trying this myself especially since people said it was hard to remove the collet connecting to the hose. However, I just used the weight to push up as hard as I could while pulling down on the hose and twisting with my hand. Once I really committed to that it came off. I was also paranoid that I wouldn't have a new white collet ring to connect this hose with (it does not come with one). However, the existing one still worked fine. Although another reviewer said you can order one here (i have verified this is the part you need but it only costs $2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G9NJ14P

Super easy once figure out what to do
Works great on kohler artifacts faucet. No instructions though. Collette connection not bad just push the connector quite hard a fraction of an inch while removing the old hose. Had to figure out that adapter inside the other hose end needed to be removed and not used otherwise nothing would fit inside the faucet spout. Then used plumbers tape around the faucet spout itself and works great. Needed zip ties to put weight under sink on the hose about 3-5 inches from the bottom so faucet spout would retract back into faucet properly. If you have issues removing the hose you are replacing all the pieces of the faucet come off the top easily to access better.

Works great, but subtracting 1 star for lack of directions. May need modification to work.
First off, Kohler has changed the design of the K-560 faucet over the years. This will only fit the older models with suffix AA to HC. You can tell if the label is still attached to the feed lines, or if your faucet has three copper tubes leading to the inside of the assembly. If you have a flex hose leading to the inside of the assembly, this will not fit. I attached a photo of the AA - HC assembly, or you can look it up on the Kohler website. All went well with the replacement until I went to screw on the spray head - it would not screw on. I was very frustrated and angry since this is the last step in the replacement. I compared it to the original hose, and the spray head side had a white plastic connector with black O-ring sticking too far out. I suspected it might not be screwed all the way in, so I tried tightening it using a 6mm Allen wrench which fit the hex hole. That didn't work. I disassembled the part and found, after comparing it with the original hose, additional parts inside, possibly for use with different faucets or spray heads. Comparing it to the old hose, I found I only needed the part with the hex-hole along with the two associated O-rings. Once I reassembled it with necessary parts, all went well. This frustration could have been avoided with a brief instruction as to when the other parts are needed. Tips on assembly: Get a replacement Kohler 1186675 "collet service kit". You may damage the white collet when you remove the old hose, and it's a good idea to replace the internal O-ring at the same time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G9NJ14P I am not a fan of O-ring water connections, but the designers didn't ask me. I always use a dab of silicone faucet grease which makes the seal more reliable and assembly easier. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000DZFUPC To release the old hose, you have to push up on the white collet at the same time you pull down on the hose. I used Channel Locks to press up on the collet while gently wiggling the old brass connector out of the faucet assembly. This combination along with a little patience worked well. There are many YouTube videos out there to help.

It Worked for My Expensive Kohler Faucet
"Funky Cold Medina DIY" has a video on YouTube that helped a lot figuring out how to remove the old hose and install this one. It went perfectly. The hose doesn't leak at all.

WRONG ONE
BEWARE if you are replacing this hose. Some Kohler models use 2 different hoses with very different ends. Product related. Hose seems of workable quality. Fit and finish seem acceptable. Machining on parts is clean and burr free. I would wager for the correct application this would work just fine. Non product related...I paid for NEXT DAY shipping for $9.99 and received it a day late (the $ 5.99) shipping option without a return of the balance on the shipping costs. It's 4 dollars so I don't really care but it's a principle thing. Which really only irritates me because all the while I wait it's leaking. I personally despise Kohler products and things like this are partially why.

It is exactly what I need to match my kolher faucet. be careful keep your old hose as you will need some of the parts from it. I made a small tools to take the parts out and installed it into the new one. I think it can keep working for another few years.
